（新加坡11日讯）新加坡两大综合度假胜地（IR）赌场独家经营权延长至2030年12月31日，从3月起赌场必须为来自贵宾赌客的营收支付高达12%的赌场税，一般赌客营收则需支付高达22%的赌场税。

新加坡赌博税法案昨日在国会三读通过。法案的一部分涉及修订赌场管制法令相关条文，以阐明赌场独家经营权延长至2030年12月31日。

圣淘沙名胜世界和滨海湾金沙于2019年宣布将投入约90亿新元（约270亿令吉），发展赌场以外的设施，包括打造世界级的娱乐景点和会展设施。新加坡政府当时表示会延长名胜世界和滨海湾金沙赌场的独家经营权到2030年底。

受疫情影响，两座综合娱乐城扩建工程也延误，新项目预计会在原本宣布的2025年之后才竣工。

新加坡贸工部政务部长陈圣辉表示，由于建筑业受疫情影响，两家集团表示项目完工日期预计将延误。两家集团早前表示新项目原定2025年竣工。

Limited liability means a private company whose owners are legally responsible for its debts only to the extent of the amount of capital they invested.
So in business sense there are times you make profit and there are times you lose money. Regardless what is the outcome the liability is limited.
As long as the company will retrench accordingly to local labor law and follow bankruptcy regulation, there is nothing bad will affect to group image.

@NatsukoMishima Genting group will not PN17 because they have already diversified their business into other non-gambling industry long time ago, eg. plantation, power energy, holdings..etc and they are cash rich company sitting on tons of cash.
unlike Airasia where the AA food delivery, AA ride hailing, just started, is burning cash every day and their core business is still airline which most of the planes still grounded that is why trigger the PN17.

Understand the business you are investing in. :)

Need to wait until Skyworld is open before Genm moves up! Unfortunately the best time to open which is early December was not met! So many investors were left dissapointed! So now Genting is telling us that Skyworld will be opened before CNY! I have my doubts! In fact i gave up! Fortunately i bought Genting instead of Genm! So yeah, Genm will only move if Skyworld is open!

Covid global report: Omicron alert in southern Chinese city bordering Macau

The southern Chinese city of Zhuhai has suspended public bus routes after announcing it had detected at least seven cases of the highly transmissible Omicron coronavirus variant there and warning residents not to leave the city.

The coastal city, which borders the gambling hub Macau, said late on Friday that Omicron had been detected in one mildly ill and six asymptomatic patients, after mass testing due to a case in a neighbouring city.

Sands China led the rally, rising 15.4% during the morning session in Hong Kong, while MGM China gained 12.1%. Genting Hong Kong May File for Liquidation as Funding Dries Up

Shares of Genting Hong Kong halted from trade in the Asian hub


Genting Hong Kong Ltd. may file for provisional liquidation as soon as Tuesday after it wasn’t able to secure funds to help it stay afloat following an insolvency at its German shipbuilding subsidiary.

The troubled cruise operator plans to file for provisional liquidation with courts in Bermuda unless it receives “credible proposals for a solvent, consensual and inter-conditional restructuring solution,” Genting Hong Kong said in a filing to the Asian financial hub’s exchange. Trading of the company’s shares has also been suspended.
