Citytrader - Are you saying that it is only a one-day technical rebound? It seems to have reached 47sen which means a 0.38 retracement - is it possible to reach 48.5sen for a 0.50 retracement? Doesn't look like it can close the gap-down level at 50.5sen.

If it falls again, can it possibly close the gap-up at 32.5sen - that's a really big drop??

i bought on fri. my humble opinion, capital reduction won't affect the public. i just guess the pressure selling is due to the announcement of capital reduction that people felt worried it affect public people and partly price correction bcoz early last week it moved up too fast. well, i hope it can go up slightly tomorrow so that i can withdraw cut loss/better still if can even up bcoz i have other stock that is stuck/not moving too so i might not want to keep ktb if given a choice.

Big machine-you are right capital reduction do not effect share value and price. But people is panic liao.Below is the annoucment from company.
Save for the reduction in its par value from RM0.50 to RM0.10, all ordinary shares of KTB
standing to the credit of the securities account of KTB shareholders shall be unaffected as a
result of the Proposed Capital Reduction. Hence, there will be no adjustment to the market
price of the New KTB Shares quoted on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa
Securities”) as a consequence of the implementation of the Proposed Capital Reduction
