tm bankrupt...this is khazanah companies PNB holdings...26K people working, mostly bumi...do you know how big is the impact if it bankrupt...it is political suicide government will provide some sort of protection to it anyhow..

yongyos: you very experienced, yes, but the telco game has changed. this one like michael jordan retire play golf. TM's management is lousy, its marketing is poor (that stupid bawang campaign), its customer service is laughable. yes it has contributed a lot by building infra throughout malaysia, but the rules have changed. everytime gobinh tweet, the price drop another RM1. he really want to kill TM this time. don't forget previous TM ceo is the one behind the HEBATKAN NEGARAKU nonsense. tomorrow heading for 2.40, then slowly slide down to 2.00. mark my words.

Look at MAS last time, everyone also say the share super safe, still be protected, all that nonsense. In the end bailout so many times also no use, taken private and mass retrench anyway. Only fools believe TM will go bankrupt. If TM goes bankrupt they just need to shutdown all network equipments and their data centers. Then all of us can die without internet. from past history many kena PN 17 is because of
1) company that posted hefty losses
2) company that have a lot of loans
3)excessive speculation of the stock price
other than that even don't worry no closing shop soon....hehe

Well, my view is they shld not kill local companies, to let other international player to come in to kill the local players. Now the telco already very competitive, if more players added, everyone will have no money to make.
The key is not to increase competition, but same time, please lah improve services. Speed, custoner service, prompt respond to complaints etc. These are the focus. Instead of cuttingpricemerely.

Last week few times; Buy 2.56 - Sell 2.65, B 2.48 - S 2.65, B 2.55 - S 2.69. Calculate yourself how much gain few days for not waiting only. ;-)
Now have B 2.57 - HOLD. Still willing to BUY more & HOLD.
