Bloomberg reported yesterday that Goldman Sachs analyst Miang Chuen Koh downgraded the recommendation on TM to sell from neutral.

He further said that the strong performance of Southeast Asian telecom stocks this year will be "largely unsustainable" even as central banks in the region are expected to cut interest rates.

"Our findings suggest Asean telcos have a circa 60% probability of underperforming their respective country benchmarks post rate cuts," the Goldman analyst wrote in a note on Tuesday.

Mabel, yes, you are very lucky and foresighted to buy TM at 2.23, you have a good holding power , and a long way to go before TM drop to 2.23.

But not many people will be as lucky as you Mabel, to have TM at 2.23.

Pity all those people who bought in TM yesterday at 4.4 ++, as they believe TM will go to 5, and from yesterday 4.45, today drop to 4.1, and after lunch TM will see 3.5 very soon.

With the news from https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/tm-active-falls-584-negative-technical-outlook, this negative outlook and the price predicted drop to 3.47, everyone gets panic and panic selling. Tomorrow Friday, and no one likes to hold over the weekend, this cause more panic selling ( imagine in May19 just only 2 months ago, TM drop to 2.6)

Opportunity buy at weakness, core fundamental business is improving especially on corporate cost control and lean operational. TM corporate structure change, mgmt proven in revamping to more lean & lower cost operation as proven in Q1'19 with sustainable lean business profit earned for med to long term goal. Compare to Axiata share price 5.12 now, TM has huge potential to go up TP 6.0 and beyond by 2019 as if 2 subsequent Qtrs earning result show +ve and are on track, cheaper in share price comparison vs. Axiata. Big potential here!
