This is long term investment company. Not suit for speculate or trading. Mansor family own many share. Just be passion. Wait for nxt catalyst i.e. Acquire new landbank. 1st q result should be good. Wait for new launch project and dividend.
U r absolutely right. Can consider accumulating this UMNO crony stock if drop below RM1.00. Maybe after the nxt Fed Open Mkt meeting on 17/9 & 18/9 respectively, another selldown will be expected due Fed's withdrawal of monetary stimulus tools, the stock will slide below RM1.00. Good luck
Budget 2014 will hit hard to local property industry by J&J author.
We think the approach is too hard even though we do not agree to sky rocketing property’s prices. The root is whether it is speculative or other reasons that caused the price hike. We feel that it is because cost is increasing and developers have transferred the cost to consumer. Also as it is a highly related fact to quantitative easing strategy by most central banks all over the world.
If the second objective is to collect more taxes to balance the budget. We feel simply a 2-3% stamp duty share by both buyers and sellers may have achieved the goal plus mildly reduce speculative activities.
If property market react heavily to the approach and this may impact all chains related to property industry and we believe is quite widely spread.
Glomac final dividend of 3.5sen is expect to declare very soon, probably by these week, give rise to yield of 3.1%. If take into account interim dividend, annual dividend total ling 6.5sen, yield at 5.8%

1.3 is big big resistance. But I'm long term investor, it will up again once the new project kicks in.
