I agree with Govin, I had accumulate this stock since it was priced at 0.46-0.48, Ntpm is now at 0.82-0.83, more than 70% return excluding dividend. Look at it like your business, long term.
Third quarter result should be good (normally strong sales in 3rd q) and hopefully a reasonable dividend. Long term prospect is bright. Last 2 years they were on expansion program locally with capacity expansion and acquisition of new Bentong factory (now running). Health care growth seems to be better than their tissue division now.
Jeremy Chan...a very good price u enter for NTPM...i only able to collect on 0.67+....this counter i for long term invest,i will add up some within this weeks..yes,div just attachement :) NTPM should go over rm1+ :)
calvin, current debt too much to cover. have to sell off property only can cover these debts. their business is not earning money for consequently 5 years, this one u can see on their cash flow statement for the pass 5 years. maybe you are right about future prospect bout this counter, but you are not comparing apple to apple if u r comparing with NTPM. u can see how strong NTPM's balance sheet then u see the cash flow. with decent dividend, expansion on international, i dont think MPcorp are anywhere near NTPM. But u buy on speculative nature, please go ahead ^^
Yes. Precisely due to MP Corp's financial condition you can get MP Corp on the cheap. You think you can get any Ecoworld now on the cheap like 11 cts when it was called Focal Aim before?
2 Parties From China are concurrently mentioned to have joint venture with MP Corp
1) Black Sea Horizon Is Interested in APTEC. (See Company Website.) 2) Dong Cheng Group (HK) are planning a jv for LakeHill & Wisma MPL.(See EdgeDaily.)
The Monies pumped in by either these two will settle all the outstanding debts easily.

And there is no better Value Buy Like MP Corp at 92% Huge Discount to NTA!
the revenue in previous year (2013) was RM480,566,518. the revenue of cumulative quarter (9 months, 31 jan 2014) is RM384,483,000. i'm wondering if NTPM can do better than last year, any comment?
The revenue for the quarter ended 31 January 2014 increased by RM6.0 million or 4.7% while profit before taxation decreased by RM1.8 million or 8.7% for the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter. The decrease in profit before tax was mainly attributable to the increase in cost of imported raw materials and the loss on fair value of the marked to market financial derivates of approximately RM0.84 million due to the weakening of Ringgit Malaysia against major trading currencies such as US Dollars and Singapore Dollars as opposed to a gain of RM1.1 million in the precedingquarter.
