If I am the CFO of GCB, I would have asked the broker to support the head share at 10% above the exercise price to ensure that the majority of them would pick them up. Having said that however, under the current market condition who got the money to exercise it!
recently this forum many people con others , rmb, that is your own hard-earned money, make your own decision and judgment, if can, do some homework. just my 2 cents. pity seriously.
yea, sometime pain is a must, why drop a little you dont want to sell , when it drop further you straight sell it without thinking?this is so called panic sell. make your own portfolio with certain circumstances and adjust it if necessary.

The material cost saving will translate into RM70Mil saving based on last quarter Sales of RM700Mil. http://www.nasdaq.com/markets/cocoa.aspx?timeframe=1y
2) Barry Callebaut to close Thai cocoa plant, cuts Malaysian capacity This will further boost GCB market share in SEA with quarterly sales jumped from RM564mil to RM700mil. cstrader MUST WATCH COUNTERS – 15 January 2016 Author: Bursamaster Bullseye | Publish date: Fri, 15 Jan 2016, 01:27 AM
MUST WATCH COUNTERS – 15 January 2016
1- GCB (5102) – Positive Momentum
As of 14 January 2016, GCB has been on a strong uptrend as suggested by the upward sloping 20-Day and 50-Day Moving Averages. In addition, the price just broke the resistance of 1.55 reinforcing the bullishness in the recent price movement. This breakout was accompanied by a higher than average traded volume which shows the enthusiasm of the traders to push the price higher and past this resistance hence giving a higher probability of a successful breakout.
Short-term TP : 1.80 Longer-term TP : 4.00
GCB-WA - Short-term TP : 0.35 (The warrant maturity - 16 Feb 2016 Exercise Price : 1.34; Theoritically if GCB is 1.56 than warrant price 156-1.34 = 0.22)
Thus warrant price should be arbitrage to 0.22. Thursday close only 0.195
If GCB TP is met at 1.80 then warrant price should be 1.80 - 1.34 = 0.46
if you opt to trade warrant as most punters do because it is cheaper; need to watch closely the movement of the mother GCB. Every cent change in the mother price should also be reflected in the warrant price.
Lot of people are creating chaos around the big drop of the stock price today. It's up to you to decide if you should probably just cut loss, or continue holding, or buy in to average down your overall base price of the stock... No one will be able to manage your fund better than you do it yourself.
substantial selling by gcb's chairman of gcb shares since 15 jan....theres's new controlling shareholder...tp still maintain ...accumulate at panic sell..accumulate...avoid any contra play...gd luck ...going to report favourable results...
They push down cheap so people will buy and convert..once after 27/1, they will push mother up, so all those WA holder will convert, then money will go to company for business expansion...they will then reward them with higher mother share...the strategy is to ensure full subscription
if the wa buyers are buying at 20c, they are saying that the head share is worth at least 1.54...
Simple maths..just plug in the figure...WA + 1.34 will do....what will be the price of mother after u converted then?? If mother share is RM2 or RM8 as somebody mentioned then all WA holder will be laughing to the banks with Boss...All happy together....no one lose....
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
