think is quite a good idea, can get some maintenance fund at same time try to fulfill the promise as much as possible, at least doing something instead of not doing anything. A traffic surcharge would make some ppl plan their schedule, thus reducing traffic.

If 1mdb is really all that bad, then how come China companies quickly pounced on the power generation component part of it, i. e. Edra Energy as soon as it became available for sale? Highway concession is a cash cow for Gamuda. I opine that this is not a good news. What are Gamuda going to do with the cash after selling its profitable asset ? How the cash can generate more return than the highway concession ?
