Development Company (PASDEC) had also set up its stall in this exhibition and it was working in Marble and Granite sector. For six to seven years an increase in the export of marble and granite had been seen, Mr. Jatoi said. Adding that in 2006 the export was $27 million but now it had reached $127 million. He hoped that the export of marble and granite would go up to $5 billion which target India had already achieved, he pointed out. Replying to a question on damage to industries due to flooding, he said that not in Sindh but in Punjab a few industries and sugar mills had been affected by the flooding. Later, the minister visited various stalls at the exhibition. As many as 85 stalls have been set up in the exhibition including 13 by foreigners.
