two reasons why i brought this MSCI index up.

firstly for reasons best known to them, they only allow their members to purchase stocks in their recommendation only! i can see Digi, but unfortunately cant see what raspusingh is recommending, Kfima, Gasmsia, faber etc. Do be aware however, that if Genting is pulled out of KLCI 100, then the above will have changes accordingly too. understand the logic and know why Najib is desperate to include FGV into KLCI 100 too!

second, someone claim finance stocks will move lower as here in relation to raspusingh's crash market:

dunno if he can see finance is always strong in foreign investors view or not. only appears to shout when market downtrend proves nothing. market is not efficient and goes about to the tune of greed and fear! if anything, with more hot money flowing from the many QEs into Asian markets next year, banking stock will rise! HK banks are already staving off speculators now and coming to grips with inflation! what utter nonsense from an amateur!

Telenor is even more aggressive than i thought! not only they want to increase their stakeholdings, many thought they are going for shared basis in terms of broadband LTE sharing, but with the purchase of TdC, they will be pushed to the rank of TM in terms of broadband capabilities, something the management had made know where their stronger revenue streams are coming from for the past 3 quarters! Their accelerated depreciation ending will also boost cash flow! please please one more SD to show your strength! :)

I just love this management! now just wait for the euphoria of market to die down in anticipating the GE and Digi should get on to the real business of making money for its investors, notably Telenor itself!

speculations for now. But HLB is one of the better analyst house for me. a bit more weightage on their part than a lot! question is, would HLIB know so much and with some extra details here & there if they are not familiar with Telenor management?

For analysis on Maxis and Digi, pls refer my previous post on MAXIS and DIGI. Both are very good counter(top 2 and top 3 in dividend yield, currently low share price make both more attractive).

MAXIS target for high-end postpaid & prepaid, MAXIS home fibre internet, wireless internet and low-rate of IDD call.

while DIGI target for low-end postpaid& low-end prepaid with creative marketing.

Celcom high-end postpaid will take over by MAXIS, celcom prepaid will take over by DIGI.

In conclusion, i would recommended to buy both MAXIS and DIGI because there will share the market by different type of user segment, celcom will become weaker in long term. Suggest you to buy MAXIS first for more stable profile, then progressively buy DIGI for more profit margin.
