For me SCOMI is a MUST BUY, p/e very low, NTA very high, no gearing,good management and very good for long term investment. In addition, this stock is promoted like nobody here everyday. must be a SOLID one.
While KFIMA is FULLY VALUED with high p/e, low NTA, high gearing, bad management and only good for trading.
Am I right? do your own homework otherwise HOLLAND is waiting for you.

KC Chong, very simple if one hold particular stock he/she will promote like no body. If he does not have, he will give bias judgement although the stock is good. Just compare SCOMI with KFIMA in all aspects, you will understand what I mean.

Davidraja, if you noticed my last few postings, I didn't promote like nobody scomi anymore. Its was good at around 21 sens when I first promote it. I have told many to look at its sister companies lately. Don't have to take my word for it. The postings are still there! Dunno if you can see thru all that with your anger and defensiveness of Kfima :)

ok, since i think KLCI will go no further than 1580, those holding Digi i give you this opportunity i have been contra-ing for the last 3 trading days!

i have been guessing the highest price to sell every trading day (helps if you have a friendly remisier, remember?) sell it and then buying it back on a somewhat lower price all on the same day itself. this is taking advantage of your holdings whilst market is sliding! this little reverse contra trick i have learned on the previous bears! never thought it would happen to Digi but its a every five year itch (election) i have done it with many other smaller counters, just not blue chips one!

what is the downside of this game? well, sometimes price tends to stay sideways for a while if you are caught! the consolation part is this is a blue chip and even if you are caught, you hold to it until rebound! must have cash ready then! next best thing to shorting the market! :)

please try it if you wish. normally i would not want to teach such methodology as this can be messy in terms of being burnt if market rise came unexpectedly! for those who dont believe i took advantage of this, and advocated i have a hold position only, i would say go learn from Mr Market's moods and patterns, and don't think the world revolves around you lots! :)

Allow me my input from experience with EPF. EPF is somewhat of an enigma in shareplay. You cannot take them and liken to smaller players. You are not comparing apple to apple when you take EPF as point of comparison. EPF is flushed with cash, with cash coming in every month literally. They are in ideal position to play as even one basis point makes a huge difference. That is why they can observe even 2 or 3 sens difference. Their aim is returns and in the event of low returns, they just declare that their investments are low. There is no problem as every month tens of millions are still pouring in. So no doubt they can even sometimes move in and out of the same counter a few times per day. Just notice that and then make enlightened observations.

For the record,EPF and for that matter MOF has some of the top economists and analysts working for them. I know some of them personally before. They are investing mostly for pride to call themselves as top guns in the gamehe
