why drop so much? Because pe too high! so, no need to surprise when drop so much. strong? strong is depend on worth or not. but dont worry, it is also not surprise if can jump back to 5 soon. because this is "hot" stock, when hot again, people will forget it is worth or not.

Less profit for 2012 cause dividen drop although dividen policy 80pc unchanged...
Hurmmm...debt to equity low compared to maxis n axiata at 0.2 but unable to generate better profit last year,compared to Maxis that need to borrow bank in order to maintain dividen payout...
Hopefuly come with UNIT TRUST like BJTOTO thus dividen payout can increase to 100pc...

4Q12 Upset in the Absence of Tax Incentive

§ DiGi’s FY12 core net profit of RM1,205.7m came in below expectation, mainly due to Higher COGS and effective tax rate of 24.2% in the absence of broadband tax incentive.

§ Declared 4th interim tax-exempt dividend of 2.5sen, totalling to 26.3sen in FY12.

§ 4Q12 revenue sales regained growth qoq and yoy on the back of stronger data growth traction and improved network performance.

§ Growth in data revenues grew qoq is sufficient to offset the contraction in voice revenues.

§ The significant improvements in usage trends and roll-out pace of new 3G sites have picked up steam showed the effectiveness the mitigation measures addressing the deteriorating network quality after the network swap which had impacted voice revenues in 3Q12.

§ FY13 and FY14 EPS were adjusted lower by 18.6% and 12.7% respectively.

§ TP cut by 6.8% to RM4.79 from RM5.14 based on DCF valuation. Maintain HOLD call on the equity.

tan84, unless you keep watching the tracker online, then you only got the chance to buy low within same day.

Or else i would say, digi price drop below 200ema is a long term downtrend. try avoid it if there is no up signal shown
