With the ringgit dropping so fast with USD, it can only means that when you buy Latitude, you are actually exchanging(in this case selling) yr ringgits. So it's a good exchange to protect yrself.

Market sentiment is bad, of course all drop no matter how good the company is. But if a company with strong FA and insider news brewing, for sure the directors will be supporting it.
Yeah thats why emotion must be strong during investments. U cannot be myopic and simply follow other ppl throwing, but to make good rational decisions.
Yes. I believe when PPL questioning here whether to hold or sell. I believe it is because they are lacking of experience. I would hope he got both sides of views. If you look at topglov, during 2011-2012, the stock price was really low even if company was earning big money for each qtr
Not necessarily. I expect Yuan devaluation will cause Ringgit to further devalue
In other words, Yuan cannot beat us in weakening as long as oil price is low. We are net exporter of oil, they are net importer. Their fundamentals are stronger than us (currently). It is like chasing their own shadow. The further they run downhill, the further the shadow run ahead of them.
Just my two cents

Mati lo
China’s devaluation is expected to reverberate throughout emerging markets that are in competition for exports against China.
“The devaluation of the yuan likely won’t end here. Currencies like the Singapore dollar, South Korean won and Taiwan dollar, which stand to compete with China, are falling and today’s move could generate headlines heralding the start of a devaluation war,” Masafumi Yamamoto, senior strategist at Monex in Tokyo told Reuters.
Local furniture companies and all export companies cannot compete lo
it means china will export its problem to global by insisting to cheapen its currency. everytime china cheapen its currency. global mkt that export to china take a hit. due to less affordability.
bmw, merc, apple, LV. nestle. tourism etc, sales will take a hit, all have to revise their sales projection to lower.
which global top 500 company doesnt do biz with china? on that counts, all global mkt will face downward pressure.
all primary products export to china has to theoritically cheapen itself so as to be able to maintain sales. expect palm oil price to collapse.
Even if optimus attacked me before, does that make him my permanent enemy ?
Let's not take thing too seriously in cyberspace. We talk talk laugh laugh scold scold, all these things are very trivial lah, don't hold grudges for too long. Can be friend, be friend loh. It is not like I have killed his mother and he killed my father. As long as he doesn't attack me, I don't fight him lor.
