NEW ISSUE OF SECURITIES (CHAPTER 6 OF LISTING REQUIREMENTS) : FUND RAISING BORNEO OIL BERHAD ("BORNOIL" OR THE "COMPANY") PROPOSED SUBSCRIPTION OF UP TO 1,205,827,550 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN BORNOIL ("BORNOIL SHARE(S)" OR "SHARE(S)") BY MACQUARIE BANK LIMITED ("PROPOSED SUBSCRIPTION")
This pp seem from australia. 40 million invested for expansion. Even heavy elephant hard to move also want to invest. The pp person in agreement stated no need become board member. He so confident in this company.
The new shares will be granted under the proposed fund raising activity. The shares usually subscribed at discount price to make sure the subscriber agree to subscribe it.
@justin1njb. Financially this company is stable. Also has a viable projects/businesses.
For example before I buy a small quantity of the shares for the first time after the last share spike, I looked at their balance sheet and studied some information about it. After I bought it, the share price keep falling, therefore I studied more to find the reason why that happens.
My conclusion is, two main reasons why that happen is because of the management objectives about the state of their company share price and because of a series of ESOS and PP. The ESOS and PP exercises keep continuing for so many years.
If the company consolidate their share without doing capital reduction exercises (parts of their capital reduced),the exercises will give more goods than bad for the small share holders.

There are only substantial share holder (owning 5% or more) , it is AFFIN HWANG NOMINEES (ASING) SDN BHD (Pledged Securities Account for Lei Shing Hong Securities Limited) with 21.16 % shareholding. This company with one substantial BOSS only... ???????? !!!!!!!!!
More lighter to goreng. For example if the share price at 5 sen before consolidation. Let say consolidation 1:10, therefore the price theoretically at least 5 x 10 = RM0.50. The company looks better because the price is not to low. Has more potential to go upward.
@651158. As I said. ... the exercises will give more goods than bad for the small share holders. Sometimes, it will be bad for certain company. It maybe cause by certain failure in that company. But theoretically it's should be good for more companies.
A share consolidation is the opposite of a share split and, indeed, is sometimes referred to as a reverse share split. A share consolidation is where a set number of existing shares in a share class are consolidated into one share. Like a split this will not change the shareholders’ rights, meaning that following the split the rights to dividends and voting rights will be unchanged. It merely alters the number of shares and the nominal value of each share.
@Topper88. If the company do consolidation exercise after capital reduction exercised, it's a different situation. The total share capital of the company will be reduced (because of to offset the acumulated losses) and the total share capital owned by share holder after consolidation will be reduced also. Its not good.
bornoil risky investment..... never ending esos, PP, diluting retailers shares......floor price 0.025.... can bornoil fly before completing all this esos and pp?
The only substantial shareholder is held under Affin Hwang Nominees (Asing) Sdn Bhd (Pledged Securities Account for Lei Shing Hong Securities Limited), of which the ultimate beneficial owner is Victoria Limited 20.99%. Then u can see the name Dato' Azahar Bin Rasul.
That means he own victoria limited.
This dato also is director in EAH n VIVOCOM. Suprise.
6.4 Future prospects of the Group The Group expects challenges moving forward amidst the escalating COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainties from the global economy. As set out in note 1, Section 3 of this announcement, the Group has initiated several new business strategies and plans to enhance its FFO business segment's performance. These include, amongst others, launching of SugarBun e-wallet platform, inventing and producing its new in-house chili sauce namely, Sabasco Premium Sabah Borneo, and the development of a stand-alone outlet for all the Group's brands housed under its existing FFO business segment. In view of the foregoing, the Board and management of Bornoil are optimistic about the financial contribution that may be accrued from the new business strategies and plans to the Group moving forward. In respect of the PIM business segment, the expected date for commissioning of the ILPP has been delayed to third quarter of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has resulted entry restriction of foreign nationals, who possess the prerequisite expertise to install the prefabricated plant equipment at the ILPP to Malaysia. Notwithstanding the above, the Group will keep abreast of the latest development and the regulation in respect of the travel requirements to and from Malaysia and will take necessary procedures or measures available should the restrictions be uplifted. In respect of RSE business segment, the Group, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, namely Borneo Oil & Gas Corporation Sdn Bhd, had on 13 August 2020, signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Minetech Construction Sdn Bhd for a proposed joint collaboration on the gold mining works at Mukim Keratong, Pahang, to explore higher grade of mining ore. This joint collaboration will enable the parties to the MOU to leverage on each other's experience and resources in this project. Notwithstanding the current economic condition, the Board and the management are of the view that barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new business strategies in place will improve the financial performance of the Group in the long run.
