Seacera Group and its subsidiary, Seacera Properties Sdn Bhd had also completed the acquisition of Duta Nilai Holdings Sdn Bhd (“DNHSB”) on 29 August 2017 for a total purchase consideration of RM165.1 million of which RM90 million was settled via the issuance of new ordinary shares of Seacera and a deferred cash payment of RM75.10 million. Seacera Properties Sdn Bhd had to make its first deferred cash payment to one of the vendors of DNHSB amounting to approximately RM28.54 million within the 2 years from the completion date of the acquisition. DNHSB’s wholly-owned subsidiary company named Duta Skyline Sdn Bhd is the legal and beneficial owner of a piece of land of approximately 501 acres in Semenyih, Selangor.
