Hi @VSLSB , how is 15% discount rate optimistic compared to 6-8%?

By discount rate 15%, i am being more conservative. I discount the projected cashflow by 15% each year into the future. Rather than discounting only 6-8%. Discount rate is individual to each investor.. not by company ya.

Yes I know precisely how much is cash, shares, and earnings from operating company. Yes he is holding a huge pile of cash, about 25% from company's market cap. But he did not sell anything other than airlines. He's protecting his reserves by not buying either because he still feels market is overvalued. I'm a long-time shareholder of Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway company here. He just had his Q1 presentation last Sunday, so I'm definitely quoting latest updates here.

I was referring to Apple168's statement on 5/5/2020 saying Buffett dumped most of his shares, which is not accurate :)
