.What is a UPS data center?
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are a critical component of data center backup power. ... Their purpose is to maintain the infrastructure until consistent power returns, or if needed, until longer-term emergency power backup systems kick in. They also suppress power surges so they don't damage equipment.

Here GPA role is of importance since it has the expertise and well established bz module

Basically How does a UPS work?
A standby UPS resorts to battery backup power in the event of common power problems such as a blackout, voltage sag, or voltage surge. When incoming utility power drops below or surges above safe voltage levels, the UPS switches to DC battery power and then inverts it to AC power to run connected equipment.

Here GPA expertise is sought

Southeast Asia (SEA) Datacenters set to witness accelerated growth in the next 5 years
0 Comments
Southeast Asia as a powerhouse

A report by Cushman & Wakefield estimates that the Southeast Asia Datacenter market is set to achieve a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 13% in the years 2019 to 2024. The region is projected to achieve accelerated growth in the market as more companies are choosing to develop datacenters in Southeast Asia. Asia-Pacific as a whole, is on track to lead the datacenter market by 2021 with a total market size estimated at US$28 billion.

Malaysian-based and Japanese-owned company, Regal Orion Bhd Sdn., is in the process of building a US$290m Green Datacenter in Labu, Negeri Sembilan. The datacenter facility will occupy 11,520 square metres of space, and host up to 4,064 racks. Essentially making it the largest facility to be housed within a single site in Southeast Asia.

Analysis.
GPA role is needed here.. So stock value expected to appreciate more.

You re partly right...but not exactly .

What are data centers used for?
A data center is a facility that centralizes an organization's shared IT operations and equipment for the purposes of storing, processing, and disseminating data and applications. Because they house an organization's most critical and proprietary assets, data centers are vital to the continuity of daily operations

GPA expertise is in Bateries including UPS...etc.. Thats why Regal need GPA expertise.. .. and this needs is crucial for the Data centre to op uninterrupted and 24/7...

To ensure this support thats why Regal willing to inject funds and most likely RTO......

Hahaaaa

So GPA bz seems to be expanding on the appreciation scale.., revenue will up.. of course will benefit the shareholders...yeah

To add on..Why are Data Centers important to business?
In the world of enterprise IT, data centers are designed to support business applications and activities that include:Email and file sharing, Productivity applications, Customer relationship management (CRM), Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and databases, Big data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, Virtual desktops, communications and collaboration services.

Regal is renting this domain. Regal manage the centres and facilities.... .. its very very important..even I3 one day may rent a domain/ server etc via this centre....
