Although US government hypocritically advocates rule of laws, human rights and innocence until proven guilty, in actual facts they did the reverse. In the name of national security or forced labour , they will accuse you that you are guilty without having to prove it. It is up to the accused or victim to prove themselves innocence . The Bans by CBP is a classic examples . The CBP will ban and detain your goods without giving any proofs. The company or victim has to find out from CBP what are the accusations and CBP.do not need to prove whether the accussations are true or not. It just take one person like Andy Hall to bad mouth your company., you had it. The victim has to prove innocence by hiring auditors and show proof that they are innocence. Another example was the detention of Meng Wan.Zhou. It just take HSBC to give a wrong.information , Meng was detained for 1028 days. She need to hire a few lawyers and spent tens of millions to prove her innocence. She was finally released only with pressure from rhe Chinese government. The recent bans by CBP on.topglove , supermx , FGV and others are political . The Banning of Xinjiang cottons in the name of forced labour was also political. Fortunately ,the patriotic Chinese citizens retaliated and gave a hard time to.US companies by boycotting their goods. Unfortunately , many M alaysians behave otherwise and seems to be.happy with CBP.actions. because of their selfish gains which they intend to make. Shame on these peoples.
MM, alleged 'forced labour' produced gloves are banned from import to US. What about tens of millions of filthy, used medical gloves imported into the US. Is it OK or not? Supermax's fault?
Do you mean gloves made in.Malaysia are subjected to CBP.ban but not shoes made in.Bangladesh, Myammar, Thailand Indonesia or Vietnam ? So your Kossan may be next CBP.target because Kossan gloves also.made in.Malaysia ?

living with covid does not mean everybody forgetting about safety health precautionary preventive measures including stringent restrictions, appropriate ppe, tight sop etc.
living with covid does not mean everybody freely & deliberately exposing themselves to the risk of getting covid, that would just be surefire recipe for another disaster

covid not gonna disappear completely so fast yet just from high vaxxing rate
OTOH, if govt & rakyat get excessively overconfident from temporary reduction in daily cases & both sides drop their guard, covid could quite easily make another upsurge
as has indeed actually happened in US, UK, Israel, Singapore, Russia
this is neither a threat, nor a scare story, but a friendly, brotherly, realistic, responsible, adult reminder
yep, mercator is only a small player with a big name, nothing like malaysian Gloves Big 4

The small player like mercator with only 3 to 4 billions capacity will not survive with the ASP coming down to normalised state. Those new comers which havent even.started production will also vanish . They just cant compete when they need to borrow to put up the capacity, do not have the economy of scale., steep.learning curve and and has yet to build up customer relationship. All these factors are detrimental to their survivals.

If we look at how TopGlov responded to the issue, you will see that there were labour issues involved...7 or 8 of them ..if i recall correctly...Pl google to see what they are..This company tackled the issue smartly by highlighting to the public periodically which of the many criteria on labour issues it had fulfilled and which it did not...they did not fight back...very impressive...once fulfilled , they were back in favour.
shorting gang spend every hour of their life awake dissing gloves, badmouthing gloves, attacking gloves, talking gloves down, in order to drag glove stock price down further
Gloves Big 4 are collectively a significant source of tax revenue for govt of Malaysia
Lagi they already donated RM400 million to Malaysian govt last year for fighting covid
So Malaysian govt very sayang sama Gloves Big 4 & will be defending the interests of Gloves Big 4 & also other glove firms in general, including defending their stocks from the indiscriminate attacks & destruction & devastation from RSS shorting gang
shorting gang are not really concerned at all about us losing our money, that line of talk is just simply their complete bullkrapping
they're really only concerned with themselves losing their money, when their desperate pathetic bullkrapping fearmongering does not work on us any more & they fail to drag down the stock price further
So many research houses have put new TP prices for Supermax, it means the Glove business is still feasible and profitable for at least few more years..
Smart ppl will not sell their Glove counters share holdings unless all the research houses stop covering top 7 Glove counters, so ppl won't care about CBO or ILO complaining to USA government against Malaysian glove company..
China's latest COVID-19 outbreak is increasingly likely to spread further, a health official said on Sunday (Oct 24), as authorities urged all regions to step up monitoring and called for a reduction in travel across provinces.
Germany's COVID-19 infections at highest since mid-May
BERLIN: Germany on Saturday (Oct 23) recorded the highest incidence of coronavirus infections since mid-May, reaching the threshold of 100 cases per 100,000 in the past seven days that used to be the yardstick for imposing a strict lockdown.
LOL got which business sector not tough unless fully monopoly by 1 or 2 companies. Hell even those monopoly companies like MAS and AA losing money before covid.
We need to always maintain stringent restrictions, keep strict safety health precautionary preventive measures including use of appropriate ppe at all times by frontliners especially, strict sop etc.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
