It comes amid fears AY.4.2 is helping to turbo-charge outbreaks in parts of the South West, where cases have reached record highs in the wake of a laboratory testing blunder.

The strain is now behind more than one in five infections in areas of Devon, Wiltshire and Somerset, which have some of the fastest growing infection rates in the country. It makes up more than 10 per cent of infections across England, having doubled in the space of three weeks.

Scientists have raised concerns over AY.4.2 after it advanced from London and the South East to the rest of the country within a matter of weeks.

SINGAPORE: A new COVID-19 cluster of 116 cases has emerged at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH).

The COVID-19 cases comprise 108 inpatients and eight staff members from both inpatient and outpatient settings, IMH said late Monday (Oct 25) night, after it was identified as a large cluster by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

I believe Stanley will divert the 3.7b cash in hand into other new bizs. No point to build factories in US now with the ban. Just putting the cash in some financial instruments will make around RM 100 mil p.a oredi. This ban could be a blessing in disguise. Its time to explore other viable recovery biz rather than to further commit into gloves. The doubling up to 48b capacity by end 2022 is good enough as far as glove biz is concerned.
