As predicted, Chung Kiaw Bank is the one divesting today. Like I said, the game is only just about to start with the banks getting out of the way first. Only then, individual shareholders will flex their muscles in their control over the shares going forward.
For these guys who have taken a major position in the company after a debt restructuring exercise with a pending asset injection, why would you want these banks to be still standing in the way? The first leg up to 22 sen is an incentive for the banks to unload their positions. I would say, there'll be the 2nd, 3rd and 4th leg up along the way. See you up there.
Sandrakkc....tan1983.....paulthesotong....Pls refer to shareholders circular Dec2014. Banks holding the shares under debt settlement cannot sell it to the open mkt. It is placed under call & put option to aldy identified investors. Names of the investors was listed in the circular to take from the respective banks.
