coz it is a 1 bonus share for 2 shares held, not a 1 for 1 bonus. that is why the share price did not halve.

CCS CIMB downgraded Pentamaster Corp [PENT.MK] from Add to HOLD, partly due to high valuation after recent share price outperformance. We would like to highlight that the weaker 2Q20 is somewhat expected as we already highlighted in our update on 1665.HK in mid-May 2020 and the rating downgrade on PENT.MK, in our view, doesn’t really have any implication on Pentmaster’s [1665.HK] coming results announcement. In addition, we suggest inventors to make a switch from PENT.MK to 1665.HK which is trading at a much lower valuation.
