@Dawneagle @mabel, end of 2019, we have so many good news from KNM. Almost every month got contract but that failed to sustain the price movement. I think we need super solid QR profits. Not just peanut 10M or 20M. So the stock price will slowly trail upwards, no need to spike up....
While its trailing up, then the next QR will be a boost! probably a mini jump in price. Then the third QR and so on. Of-course some dividend and bonus issues will sustain the price at a certain level.
Right now, i think the directors are playing a game and maybe, i say maybe again - ppl in this forum are supporting the price will all this high hopes for RM3.
We definitely need dividends to attract big players( they sustain the price). How many of us can hold 200million shares and keep it for 5 or 10 years? maybe @sardine @paktua @mabel.... :)
Bottom line, if you ask me NEWS or QR................ill go for QR!!! in between is all noise 10/02/2020 12:58 PM
@Dawneagle @Mabel..Sorry Mabel, i just realize you have Mercedes too. I was not referring to you. I will change the Mercedes to BMW.
10/02/2020 12:43 PM
No issues Dawneagle ...You can stick to Mercedes.
BMW are for those who knows cars. They appeal more to the yuppies and upcoming stars, that’s why they talked about horse power and torque.
Mercedes are for those who knows about money. They are made for those that have arrived. That’s why we here talked about cats, dog and living.
If you’re looking for performance over luxury then go for the BMW. If you’re looking for luxury over performance then go Mercedes.
They are both very well engineered German Cars. That's why I also collected Cycle and Carriage Berhad (Mercedes) and Sime Berhad (BMW and Porsche) for my Automobile Investment. I only go for the best.
Remember, “James Bond drives BMW” - only because BMW paid megabucks for him to use it. Mercedes Benz doesn't pay anything to get thousand of their cars into the movies...
Part of the increase in KNM’s Asia segment came from its bioethanol plant in Chachaengsao province in Thailand that started operations in July 2017. The plant currently produces 200,000 litres of bioethanol per day using tapioca as feedstock.
The plant was funded via an Asian Development Bank-backed bond of US$80 million raised in 2016.
KNM plans to raise the plant’s capacity to 500,000 litres per day and once it produces that much bioethanol, it will be profitable, says Lee.
“The good thing about this project is that it is a cash cow. We have very good list of customers with the biggest taker being Chevron, which is committed to take up 60% of our production over five years,” he notes, adding that the expansion plant will require an investment of US$60 million.
borrowing RM 480m for ethanol plant with yearly interest 6.5% commercial loan which is RM 30m.
As i said, KNM is too much relying on borrowing to run the business. The profit knm made has gone paying bank interest. We don't even have chance to get 3% dividend.
After paying interest, come again depreciation on plant and machinery where need to be serviced and replaced.
Masterkevin. I totally disagree with you bout borrowing.. If knm dont have income , you think they will get commercial loan not? Only those got income and profit can get loan. Mean those banks trust knm credibility.
Godofgambler you talk without any commercial sense. any business with poor prospect will be able to get loans as long they have collateral and structure their books in a way that it appears less risky. thereafter they will only need to comply to the bank covenants, pay interest on timely basis, maintain a good financial service cover ratio, they will be fine. but as masterkevin said, if the funding is not utilised to the max and translate into earnings, it means more burden on the margin in coming years..
"those banks trust knm credibility".... u think son borrowing from father?
@godofgambler. There is alot of ways for GLC to secure loan. They dont have to be profitable. They can use the company shares as collateral and secure a loan, even if they are in the RED.
A very good example is BORSIG itself. The entire share was pledged to bank to secure euro220 million loan. During this time KNM was still RED. So although they dont trust the Son, they still give because of collateral security.
Technically BORSIG belongs to the bank, untill loan is settled.
KNM needs a huge contract. Or new investor. Or wait for their latest QR. Other than that dont think its price will spike up. Just hold and wait. Time will tell. KNM investors unite.
So many smart investors commenting on KNM forum. But if you don't think this counter has hope why come here and talk your idiotic nonsense. If you guys are so smart then you would be rich and not wasting time condemning those who believe in KNM.Most probably you are unemployed and bankrupt and need a place to pretend to be smart to satisfy your frustrations!!Real morons!!!
simple only, if you working in "A" company and yearly no bonus and no salaries increasement do you still wanna work or waste time in that company.. Of course find a good one same to KNM why all investors here?
@paktua...... CONFESSION FROM A SHARK... not small dumb shark.

tut tut we not small shark either..and we not dumb player.. Q11/02/2020 12:58 PM
@ngs98. What idiotic nonsense are you referring to? Probably you're feeling the pinch buying high(idiot). So when ppl present facts, you feel like ppl rubbing salt on your wound. I dont blame you, too many idiots like you here, running paper lost or realised lost.
ngs98 So many smart investors commenting on KNM forum.
Dawneagle-I assume you are referring to yourself as an idiot for being here considering you are condemning KNM!!What idiot stays in a place he has no hope in??
From 0.47 until 0.255...drop non stop.. Wat ur expected???? Jump back to 0.30 or 0.4 .or rm 3 coming??? Still dreaming... Not over confident on this counter... enough for KNM..
@godofgambler....lol. I like your feedback. However,I'm not the smartest here.
Next
@ngs98 I'm not an idiot either. Lol
I bought at 0.12 thanks to @sardine81. Then I bought more in the 0.20-0.25 thanks to paktua. Average around 0.155. Then @paktua sold off early, so I sold off half at 0.41. Then I was hoping it will goto 0.60, so I can sell all and exit. BUT trading is like rollercoaster ride, it dropped from 0.46 to 0.245. Anything below 0.25, I buy non-stop, maybe competing with @paktua's gang.
I was upset, because it didnt go upto 0.60 with all the wonderful stories put up here. Then by doing a little study n watching the trend. I realised the price is being manipulated by the directors for accumulation. Then :-
1. There was no 3pm ghost shit 2. There was no reverse takeover 3. No German or Russian mafia after Borsig 4. There was no new substantial shareholder 5. Peterborough didnt kick start
But price went from 7c to 46c! How?
Only in this forum, you can find BORSIG classified as world class engineering company. I searched the entire google.com, no where else. So I know it's all speculation.
Bottom line the QR talks, even that the directors can manipulate.
Sardin is right and has been a positive influence on this forum.Yes everyone has a right to their opinion but if you are not interested in KNM then do the decent thing and stay away.Go find some share you believe in and give your opinions which is your right!Sad to say stocks don't just go up on fundamentals alone but depend on many internal and external factors.Question here is do we have faith in what Sardine has said and implied?I do and intend to stick to KNM for at least a year as I believe there is hope for KNM in the near future.I wish all sincere and hopeful investors well and I do want to thank Sardine and those like him who have been positive in this forum-keep the faith guys and we will be rewarded. After all it is our own money and why should others be so negative with our decision to invest in KNM!
Ngs98.. Problem is investors here want knm to be in perfect scenario. No hutang from banks, company stacks with cash, got tons of projects, high dividend, free shares, free, free and etc.
If like that then only the negative thinkings will gone. No complaints. Like in heaven.
Just reference to TA : All indicators are showing KNM is in down trend after past 3 days it formed an evening star, which is a bearish signal for further downtrend. The last evening star formed by Jan 2nd, KNM trend down from 0.38 (Jan 2nd) to 0.315 (Jan 20th), a drop of 20%.
IDSS is short selling RM 2.36 mil today at the average price of 0.26. The negative + daily active participation of IDSS, short term it will continue to trend down.
By 3 months from the high of Nov 8th (0.475) to Feb 11th (0.235), the price drop by half. It is interesting to see if there is a buy signal for a rebound.
@sardine81.. you dont talk like idiot. Paste a web link here that says Borsig is a world class engineering company. I want to read. Then you talk, otherwise shut up.
Dont post some stupid youtube video saying borsig built locomotive 100 years ago, etc. Those engineers are all dead and gone. Let's talk about last 5 years.
Below are 2 list . One is local german, another is world.
See cheating ppl again. You said Knm got ethanol and will contribute positively due to Corona. Now you say different thing. Knm price was dropping even before corona! charts and news dont lie. Who is the idotic liar now?
@sardin81 KNM would have already gone much higher if not for the coronavirus.
dawneagle.. read at below was clear say knm was own borsig
After World War II, the company was called Borsig AG, owned by Rheinmetall (as Rheinmetall-Borsig) and later by VIAG, a company owned by the German Federal Republic. In 1970, Borsig was sold to the private company Deutsche Babcock AG, later known as Babcock Borsig AG. In July 2002, Borsig had to reorganize due to the insolvency of its parent company, Babcock Borsig AG, Oberhausen. In 2004, Borsig bought ZM Zwickauer Maschinenfabrik, a manufacturer of reciprocating compressors and blowers, today known as BORSIG ZM Compression GmbH, situated in Meerane/Saxony. In 2006, Borsig bought the industrial boiler manufacturer DIM KWE, today BORSIG Boiler Systems GmbH. Today the BORSIG Group consists of six companies:
BORSIG GmbH, the parent company, Berlin, BORSIG Process Heat Exchanger GmbH, Berlin, manufacturer of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, BORSIG ZM Compression GmbH, Meerane, manufacturer of compressors and blowers, BORSIG Membrane Technology GmbH, Gladbeck and Rheinfelden, manufacturer of membrane technology such as emission control systems or vapour recovery units, BORSIG Boiler Systems GmbH, Hamburg, industrial boilers and power plant engineering, BORSIG Service GmbH, Berlin and Gladbeck, industrial service. In 2008 the whole BORSIG Group got a new owner, the KNM Group Berhad, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The actual product and service programme of the BORSIG Group consists of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, process gas waste heat recovery systems, quench coolers, scraped surface exchangers, reciprocating compressors for process gases, turbo compressors for process gases, reciprocating compressors for CNG filling stations, blowers and blowers systems, compressor valves, membrane technologies, such as emission control units, vapour recovery systems, gas conditioning, advanced separations, industrial boilers, power plant engineering, power plant services and industrial services.
tut tut if not world class.than smk kaa?? iyaa
