Cancellation of the Trans Pacific Partnership will be a good thing for Tek Seng as it will keep the price higher in Asia due to restictic trade with America and the same tarrif will apply to all companies which will be fair. Also any American companies opporating in America will suffer large input Tarrifs that they do not presently incur.

We shouldnt just read the good news of other solar companies and then hypnotise ourselves that TS will also do as well as them, its irrelevant.

The current situation relevant to TS are:
1. No expansion in 2017

Sound like good news because of US and China that solar companies are moving out of China to avoid US anti-dumping tariff rate. Malaysia and Vietnam will benefit.

The fact is that solar industry is facing one of the worst if not the worst of price war. Many of the pv cell manufacturers might not earning money, or suffering loss. Tekseng is no exception. But do in mind, do we really expect manufacturers not earning money that long? Especially there's demand globally. Tekseng is selling quite attractive while only selling in term of pvc business (in my point of view) however, You may doubt how long will you have too wait the pv cells price to recover, if that is so don't invest first. Observe.

If u exclude profits from solar division, the annual profits are relatively stable over the years.
2013: 15,090,000
2014: 14,787,000
2015: 15,517,000
2016: 21,535,000

Nonetheless, the profits from solar has contributed massively since 2015.

Besides solar, the PVC Sheeting has always bring in steady revenues and profits each year. So after reviewing it, I found that the PVC sheeting is a versatile product which can be applied & used in the following:

Packagings, Ceiling Boards, Wall Paper, Lamination on plywood, Stationaries, Raincoats, Car Mat, PVC Umbrella, Canopy, Coat Cover, and the list goes on.
