• DUFU is involved in the design, development and manufacturing of precision machining, computer peripherals and parts for hard disk drive. The company serves the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) segment which is poised to benefit from rising demand for data centres and cloud storage services.

• QoQ, 2QFY20 revenue increased to RM73.4m (+37%) mainly due to the increase in volume loadings by customers operating in the HDD segment. However, net income declined to RM9.9m (-30%) given the higher overhead costs per unit as the group introduced hard-ship allowances and provision of meals for workers who came back to work during the Covid-19 lockdown.

• The group’s operations have returned to normal in the second half, which is expected to lead to satisfactory results for the full-year.

• On the chart, the stock has declined from a high of RM3.98 on 4th August to its current level of RM3.09. We believe a price reversal could be in sight as the stock’s RSI is near the oversold region. In addition, its shorter key SMAs continue to stay above the longer term key SMAs, indicating that the uptrend remains intact.

• Should the buying momentum resume, our overhead resistance levels are set at RM3.50 (R1, +13% potential upside) and RM3.70 (R2, +20% potential upside).

• On the flipside, our stop loss is pegged at RM2.75 (-11% downside risk).

DUFU is not those monthly performing counter, but in annual terms, it did very well. People nowadays get to be told investing is easy money in easy money out, but instead they forgot, invest in shares need times, and times enable the Company to show you what they could do and reflect to their share price. just be patient guys, Technology is booming, is just another 2-3 years wait.

From the recent WD qr, "The 18-terabyte capacity point will be the sweet spot in industry going forward, though demand for our 14-terabyte drives continues to be strong."
For Seagate, "Building on the strong momentum of 16-terabyte products, 18-terabye drives are qualifying at multiple customers and progressing very well."

actually what to dissapoint about, too much expectation, is doing fine, the profit was dragged by high tax rate. this year they paid marginally higher of 12% increase tax rate.

Will the market crash if budget 2021 cannot be passed this coming Thursday (26/10/2020)? These are the 4 possible scenarios:

1. Parliament will be dissolved and a snap election will be called
2. A state of Emergency in the whole country will be declared by YDPA
3. Muhyiddin will resign and YDPA will appoint an interim PM
4. YDPA will appoint a new PM who has majority MPs support. A new budget 2021 also will be tabled by the new appointed PM.

Will the market go down? Will it crash? Take profit now or wait?
