It got nothing to do with demand. Demand is growing judging from increase revenue from most plastic packaging company. But can't say the same for bottom line.

and I also is not

why is not sunset biz?

SCGM venture to another new type of packaging that is environment friendly

as more users is environment conscious now , so expect demand will grow more further


other than that, now have many apps that do food delivery , so this also will help in demand of SCGM products

also food packaging demand is always there as human need eat food everyday

(before this net cash, now become net debts)

*operating cash flow in negative for past 8 quarters

*assets around same, liabilities go up a lot

read the latest annual report 2019

seem not bad, even the colour is boring and layout also boring and the content keep repeat the same thing

but overall seem like not bad company

SCGM have its own degradable brand, expand to indon

also EPF also is part of the shareholders as at 31/07/2019 but less than 5%


this is good, if EPF come in then will have high potential that SCGM share price will grow more


maybe if going forward the quarter result is good, EPF might hold higher than 5%

Sudden surge in stock price :)
I suppose its coming quarterly result should see improvement, and probably back to profitability. The last quarter was the worst as all the bad things happened together. The worst should be over for SCGM.

I expect to see gradual improvement but not a spike in earnings because SCGM needs time to fill up its additional new capacity and improve its utilisation rate. It has high chance to achieve that because I notice its sales revenue has been increasing in past quarters albeit earnings was poor due to higher costs incurred in new plant.
