Not sure hiw can it be defined as good results. What was the operatinf workforce in Q1 last FY (May, June &July 2020)? I thought last year was worst off than this year in term of lockdown.
Resin price was hit the top in May. Even with the high raw material cost, SCGM is still able to make more profits due to the increase sales volume with eveleted ASP.
Breakout?? Robust demand is confirmed. Simple business with F&B and PPE exposure. I'm expecting continued growth without end in sight. Capacity expansion should add more fuel to earnings growth. Anything not to like? Up Up and Away!!!
Kenanga - 05 Oct 2021 Plastics & Packaging - Taking An Expansive View
We also maintain our OP call on SCGM (TP: RM3.13) for (i) its capacity expansion plans, and (ii) the robust demand for its F&B packaging and PPE products.
We think these players will continue to experience robust demand for their products and their continuous expansion of product range should continue fuelling future earnings growth.
Seriously, getting fed up holding this counter. Non stop having briefing this briefing that. All syiok sendiri. Price at this range for bldy ages aldy. But other in same industry e.g. BP , etc has rocketed up. Here keep telling how good is their biz, but suddenly last quarter profit affected. Not sure other peers affected or not.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
