look at the last 2 days volume and price, volume increased a lot obviously but price doesn't much movement .. what does it mean ? most likely operator pull up a bit to trap more people in. As they know coming Quarter result might be not good. becareful
Telur dah over supply lagi bulan ni bulan puasa orang kurang makan telur. Harga saham counter telur lain ( LTKM , Lay Hong ) turun sebab harga telur dah turun 1-2 sen se biji.
As I mention earlier, no need calculation. It's common sense the egg price dropping in pasar malam supermarket etc. All aunty housewife know. Egg is fragile somemore teoseng always choose best timing on Greece nego. If you remember sometime ago when US IMF big change last time this egg also dropped. Next US adjust interest rate sure this egg will wayang again, bkful when u buy egg. Did I tell you if SG rate back to 2.5 how this egg will react, don't say I said hor.
Egg producers are hit with a triple blow: 1) Rise in corn prices due to shortfall in production; 2) Rise in USD/RM rate of 18% since corn is priced in USD and 3) GST and higher prices from imports due to USD, are causing supermarkets to experience up to 30% reduction in sales. Corn is about 50% of chicken feed and chicken feed converts directly into eggs based on a certain ratio. High USD and GST are expected to increase inflation which further decrease consumption. The economy will take about a year to adjust. Teo Seng is partly protected due to its relatively high net profit margin of 12% and 30% sales to Singapore the currency of which has risen 9.8% against the RM.
In May/June, the Nam family sold 145,400 shares. In April/May, they acquired 310,000 shares. It is stilt net buying. This exclude the company buy back of shares.
Even if the Nam family sold 145,400 shares without any new acquiring, what is 145,400 shares over the total of 154,330,603 shares that they are holding? That is less than 0.1% of their holding and less than 0.05% of total Teoseng issued shares.
usually when a company shares have gone up alot, the owners will sell some shares to take in paper profit. as long as they still maintain their controlling interest, it is very common thg in bursa. even directors are human too. some directors sell to open market to improve the share liquidity, due to too much ownership by individuals and family members.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
