（吉隆坡15日讯）EG工业（EG Industries Bhd）正计划发行附加股及派送红股，为扩展业务筹资高达6390万令吉。

该集团建议以4配1的形式，发行高达6730万股可赎回可转换优先股（RCPS），参阅价为每股95仙。

这家电子制造服务（EMS）供应商今日向大马交易所发文告报备，其中所筹措的1500万令吉将用以购买及升级设备与机器、1000万令吉则用来购买机柜装配（box build）的原料、240万令吉供研发与收购知识产权、1000万令吉用以摊还银行贷款，以及80万令吉充作营运资本。

“多达2360万令吉的资金将用来收购新业务或资产，以辅助本集团现有的电子制造服务业务；剩余的210万令吉则用以支付此企业活动的费用。”

EG工业表示，该集团已扩大和缴足股本将增加至2亿190万令吉，包括每股50仙的4亿380万股。

在获得相关批准后，这批RCPS的最终发行价将在日后确定。

EG工业集团总执行长江邦健表示，进行这项企业活动是必要的，因集团藉此企业活动来筹资，以便推动集团的业务增长。

他也指出，这将扩大EG工业的资本，让集团有能力投资新产能扩展业务，并确保攫获海外客户。

“EG工业仍未完成与这些潜在候选人（潜在目标）的协商，但我们肯定希望在本地甚至其他国家（如新加坡、泰国和中国）物色收购中小型企业的机会，或收购已备有厂房可辅助我们业务的资产。”

闭市时，EG工业收低0.5仙或0.51%，收报于97仙，市值达2亿493万令吉。

I'm happy to this scenario,
funds see value in EG shall subscribe and claim the Bonus qith 2% annual interest .
(Besides, this would help EG furthur reap with bigger contract from gkobal Electronic players)
This is a golden chance to take a bigger pie from this Box Build segment.

Since the bonus is only entitled to whom subscribe the RCPS, once the bonus issued out, will the share price drop correspondingly?

If i m not wrong, all the bonus or right issued will have adjustment on share price...Right issue will only dilute the eps without create any new value.

But, not all shareholder will subscribe RCPS, if share price adjustment happen, it will affect all shareholder, including those who dont subscribe. Izit make sense?

Normally,the company will reward the shareholders through the bonus issue.At times such bonus issue is made to sweeten the proposal such as for the purpose of raising capital for expenditure ( production expansion) to meet increasing orders,expenditure and acquisition.Company can also fund the capital required through bank loan or private placement.By raising through right issue is a better option in lieu of the global's increasing interest rates on the horizon.
The stock price will be adjusted accordingly after ex-date bonus issue and right issue to reflect the new number of shares issued to all eligible shareholders.

Company have cashflow issue la. bussiness is good, but if cashflow not good, like the saying goes 'yang dikejar tak dapat, yg dikendong berciciran'. Hope qtr result shows company really trying to improve its cashflow. Im in btw
