Normally price of right issues should be below the market price to attract more investors.But it is quite ridiculous that this company fixed the RI price 10% higher than the current market price.That is why investors turn away.

Agreed, Cimbnet, I rather buy directly from open market, can sell anytime. Buy RI got to wait long time until its listing then only can sell.

read the right issue prospectus carefully, one OR entitle for 1 bonus share. so 1OR+0.95 /2 = price per share... theoretically 0.95/2 = we are buying 0.475 per share... i;m on EG boat... good luck all

lol..pls understand first..theorytically before or after right issue, share value will be the same..it will adjust accordingly..for eg: 100share@rm1 and 200share@rm0.5 is the same value..

this right issue already caused share price drop, meant it should be a bad news for investor, a company that keep asking money is not good normally, but there is an exception case...

Sometimes , the admin could be underestimating the damage from the retailers chaos .
Plus , retailers suggest the price shud diluted in big way from the R.i.

For me , the only important benchmark is their improvement of the Qtr Results. Which considered quite satisfy from the previous 2 qtr. Of course , to regain back market confidence EG got to do better.
