EMS will be like Hot Cake in 2nd H 2017 ...with increasingly demanding for consumers electronic contracts from Europe & China. By checking out how good our ATE equipment & solution providers has experiencing robust earning for the past 1 year ... guess who bought the most of ATE products or service ? It's EMS and Semicon industry players dude.
Smart investors know what to do and please do not act like experts to give useless view for this counter. Most investors know the problem of this company.
. VenFx : Thanks for your long explanation to how EG has taken measure on their financial standpoint. But still, it is not pleasant as you didn't explane about their ballooning trade receivable. I'm comparing it with Penta and found no increase in their receivable despite a strong growth year after year, whereas EG has to ease their cash flow through R.I. , last two years, and again now. I'm not in the semiconductor industry and I have no clue as how does the payment terms in this sector... .
. Exactly Cimbnet! Penta is the reason why I bought into EG as they are the same in semiconductor, but only found later their trade receivable is ballooning and this is something worrying. Nevertheless I see they have managed well with the turnaround plan, hopefully they have commitment to improve their payment collection so don't need to raise rcps... .
Malaysian industrial production “was resilient in Q1, with the manufacturing sector growing 5.6% year-on-year versus 5% in Q4, on the back of robust demand for electronics,” the bank said.
March exports surged 24.1% from a year earlier, slowing just slightly from the 26.5% pace set the previous month and almost double the 13.6% expansion in January.

Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) is a term used for companies that test, manufacture, distribute, and provide return/repair services for electronic components and assemblies for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The concept is also referred to as electronics contract manufacturing (ECM).
Meanwhile, business services grew at 8.4% due to a favourable momentum in professional activities.
The department said manufacturing sector rose to 5.6%, a faster pace than 4.7% in the previous quarter, spearheaded by electrical, electronic & optical products (7.9%), mainly in production of printed circuit boards and semiconductors.
Remarks : As u may noticed, by comparing the 2 sets of the EMS key players ... Asia & Local EMS player's share prices has been showing better performance over the international players.
Facts are, Asia EMS players has much advantages in providing competetive products and excellent services to their global clienteles.
