i got it. in the prospectus. dividend rate is 20% per annum based on nominal value (RM0.10) of RCPS.
if based on issue price of RM0.38, the dividend yield (DY) is 5.26% per annum. DY much higher than that for mother share.
before bonus issue, mother share has DY of 3.33% based on RM0.445 (price before ex-bonus). after bonus DY for mother share could be reduced due to dilution.
do you think the price of 38 cents will hold , look at the mother share price, very low and not moving?
If based on yield better to buy Malton loan or Pantech loan where interest is much higher and growth rate is more. Or you can invest in Bonds where the gain per year is better than 5.3%
if cempaka bought RCPS at 0.38.. meant they have folk out alot of money to support the company.. so if we buy RCECAP now at 0.30.... is a very big discount compare to the major shareholder, who bought rcps at 0.38...if i can buy cheaper than the price of the major shareholder..do u think it is very safe and got potential for the share to rise to 0.38?
is it possible for cempaka to privatise the company at a cheap price.. after cempaka subcribe to the rcps... cempaka will own more than 50 % of the company...good pivatisation candidate in view that the current price is much cheaper than then NAV- 0.70

i see. then 0.38 is too high to subscribe. you lose 18% upfront (mother at 0.31) and you need 3 years to breakeven from the 6% interest. not worth.
