Elaphe Mabel, can you explain abit on the warrant share. 10/08/2023 10:56 PM
A warrant share is a derivative contract that offers investors the right to sell or purchase the shares of a stock at an agreed-upon price and within a specific period. Every such warrant comes with an expiration date, restricting investors from exercising the financial instrument beyond that specific period.
Warrants are issued by companies, giving the holder the right but not the obligation to buy a security at a particular price. Companies often include warrants as part of share offerings to entice investors into buying the new security.
Warrants are considered a risky investment tool. The warrant may expire before the stock is sold, making it worthless. If the company goes bankrupt, the warrants may become worthless. The holder of a warrant may not be able to sell it on the open market if there is no demand for it. There are also risks such as credit risk, liquidity risk, managerial risk, and possibly inflation risk..
However in Sap case, the expiry date is 2026 if Mabel not mistaken. Based on the latest development, there is a high chance it exceed 49 sen level by 2026..
As always, please also do your own diligence on this.
Let say I buy at 0.025sen and it rise till 0.035sen only. 1. Can I sell it. 2. If not exceed 49sen what will happen to the share i bought. 3. Why buy warrant ?
It's actually your call. Mabel always prefer Mother Shares than warrant. It has been Mabel's personal choice.
Mabel still keeping my SD 2019 Bonus Issues free warrant. Before DK becum con artist these bonus issues free warrant was traded at 60 sen and it was supposed to reach RM 1..
Let's see if the rest of the team can advice you further on call warrant.
I write this to fellow shareholders 1-2 months ago.
Dear fellow shareholders,
I hope this update finds you well. It has been some time since I last shared information with all of you, and I believe it's important to keep you informed about recent developments. Please note that the following update is specifically intended for shareholders, and if you have a negative outlook or encourage others to cut losses, I kindly request you to refrain from reading further. ________________________________________________
Sapura Energy is currently undergoing a significant development in its restructuring efforts. According to the information I have received, there are several key elements involved in this process.
Firstly, there will be the establishment of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to facilitate the restructuring. This SPV will likely involve the collaboration of the government and Petronas, the national oil company of Malaysia.
Additionally, there is news about a potential golden handshake from the government to support Sapura Energy's restructuring. The details and extent of this arrangement are not yet fully disclosed.
Another important aspect is the involvement of CDRC (Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee), a team associated with Bank Negara Malaysia, the central bank. They are reportedly working internally to ensure a smooth restructuring process for Sapura Energy.
As part of the restructuring plan, there is a proposed injection of RM1.8 billion into the company. Also, approximately RM0.8 billion in loan will be allocated for repaying existing loans.
These developments are considered as internal measures and can be seen as a form of bailout to support the company's sustainability.
For the creditors, it is expected that there will be a haircut of more than 50% on the outstanding debts. This means that creditors will need to accept a reduction in the amount owed to them.
The urgency to prevent Sapura Energy from going bankrupt is evident, and efforts are being made to settle outstanding obligations to creditors in a timely manner. As part of the deal, creditors have the option to accept a 60% haircut and receive the funds promptly. However, if they choose not to agree, they may have to wait for the process to unfold, which could potentially take a significant amount of time.
It is crucial to monitor further updates and official announcements from Sapura Energy regarding the details and progress of this restructuring plan.
Regards, DatoT20 (Sapura Shareholders, Diamond hand, Skin in the game, AkuYangBeliKauYangPANAS) __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ LATEST UPDATE!
After a series of constructive negotiations with its creditors, I have been informed that SAPURA ENERGY has reached an agreement with the banks (MAYBANK is the largest Creditor) regarding its debt restructuring plan. This achievement reflects the company's commitment to resolving its financial constraints and optimizing its financial structure.
PNB and MAYBANK can team up to help SAPURA ENERGY with its Debt problems.
Who's Who:
PNB (Permodalan Nasional Berhad): They own a lot of SAPURA ENERGY's shares, (Majority shareholder) MAYBANK (Malayan Banking Berhad): They lent SAPURA ENERGY money, and now they want it back. (Creditor)
Because PNB owns a lot of the company, they have the power to talk to both SAPURA ENERGY and MAYBANK. They can help them work together to find a solution. PNB can make sure that both sides feel good about the deal. This way, SAPURA ENERGY can solve its debt, and MAYBANK can get their money back.
Thanks Mabel for your insight on warrant. ------------------------------------- when you see nonsense price target, it is time the stock get overheated... filter the info and do your own research.....

Hi KY, no need to scare 20:1, cause lesser shares in the market means easier to push.. so to me any capital reduction or share consolidation is nothing.. but one thing i know is this counter wont go back to 0.035 cents anymore

Lesson learned: Trust the advice of experienced investors like DatoT20, Mabel, and our fellow shareholders. When it comes to owning Sapura shares, it's wise to heed the guidance of knowledgeable individuals. Rather than paying attention to trolls or those with limited resources, focus on the insights of those who understand the market and have a stake in it.
I have noticed that my comments are being read by many individuals, and some of you have even shared them in Telegram groups through copy-pasting or screenshots. I am an active member of the SAPURA TELEGRAM group, and I am aware of the discussions and opinions circulating there. I want to express my gratitude to those who find my insights beneficial, especially during these challenging times.
I want to clarify that I do not urge people to buy more shares every day. My intention is to provide support and guidance to SAPURA ENERGY shareholders. As a community, we may feel isolated as there is limited coverage from investment banks or other sources. External perspectives often paint a pessimistic picture for SAPURA Energy.
My presence here is to offer my unwavering support and share valuable insider tips (though not everything, just selected information) to assist shareholders and provide them with a sense of comfort. It is essential to remain cautious and not be influenced by those who advocate for cutting losses prematurely. Let's stay united and focus on making informed decisions based on reliable information. Together, we can navigate these challenging times and work towards a brighter future for SAPURA ENERGY shareholders.
If you're a regular reader of the SAPURA forum, you're probably familiar with me. I've been here from the very start, continuously standing up against scammers like Bob, Huang, OKU, i3lurker, DickyMe, and a few others.
Sometimes, I provide valuable updates and reasons why you should consider buying or holding onto your Sapura investment.
Navigating this counter has been a challenging journey. If you're not prepared to fight, dealing with a PN17 counter like this is quite a different game altogether.
One day, I will, I promise, I will reveal my true identity and the number of shares I own in Sapura Energy.
The reason I actively share updates here isn't because I'm just a shareholder like all of you, but because I'm tired and frustrated by the continuous trolling of shareholders by scammers in this forum. It's our money, so why should they care so much?
Dato T20, what i can say about my share position.. i doubled the shares i hold within a week.. i monitor this counter everyday from 9am to 5pm. from the recent movement, i am very high confident this counter is coming. i dont ever care what scammers are trying to do here cause we are all matured.. we use our own money to buy Sapura and willing to take any risks. Always remember, Higher risks come with Higher return! Happy weekend everyone and happy voting tomorrow too if you are belongs to the 6 states voters. :)
In the Sapura Telegram Group, I came across a scammer who goes by the name "CANYON." This individual is exceptionally bothersome and frequently instigates conflicts with shareholders within the group. Upon investigation, we discovered that he had cut his losses at 0.035. It's no surprise that he's excessively pessimistic about Sapura Energy and consistently trolls shareholders in the telegram group.
What motivates someone to act in such a way? If you've cut your losses, it's best to move on. So why linger in the group? And if you choose to stay, why engage in trolling other shareholders?
Interestingly, this CANYON character quietly LEFT from the Telegram group after Sapura Energy gained a remarkable 70%! Hahahaha.
