So nice and lovely with Mabel current average cost of 3 sen, it so refreshing to see this PN17 is so green just like Mabel CapitalA Air Asia..
Felix Statement formula: Payoff 4.75b immediate due debts: White Knight 1.8b Sapura OMV disposal 2.865b (50% of RM 5.73B) Total 4.665b Another RM 0.085B or RM 85 million only coming from internal generated fund.
It is not required to settle all 15b at once. Just the immediate due RM 4.7B.
Really love Felix Formula. That's why Mabel always Goyang kaki.
The lesson of the story here is before we invest, we need to make sure we have holding power and there's 2 sides of this. One is from emotional angle. One of the keys to make it easy on the emotion is to do homework and position size. The other one is from practical angle. Are you okay in terms of cash flow? Do you really don't need the money you are investing? Or do you expect this to be a quick 6-month investment? Because sometimes when you are in a desperate need of money, you may need to sell your shares even at a loss. So if you are OK with all 3, you can continue Goyang Kaki...
2 pending good news of Sapura to get out of PN17; Sale of SapuraOmv and White Knight
Sapura's current market cap is RM850m, with Sapura selling OMV at a price of RM5.73b.... Sapura's value will double, and the market cap should reflect the sale. PNB, with its large holdings in Sapura, will need to increase the share price which reflects the real market value of Sapura. Rakyat is the largest shareholder of Sapura Energy when Amanah Saham Bumiputara owns 4,805,895,739 or 30.08% interest. This does not include Amanah Saham Malaysia 2 – Wawasan, Amanah Saham Malaysia 3, Amanah Saham Bumiputera 3 – Didik, Amanah Saham Nasional, and Amanah Saham Bumiputera 2.
As long as your holding cost is below PNB cost there is nothing to fear..
Why Aax was let Go?? After proper request???? No-- i ask around, many say there is a " invisible Hand working " SAP will be next then CapA ----All let Go (PN17 lock-Up) during 2024----CapA is more difficult than SAP bcos it didnT produce " White Knight" and property Sale as SAP ( SapuraOmv)

Velesto listed during the oil boom in 2013 — when it was known as UMW Oil & Gas Corp Bhd — at RM2.80 per share.
HAVING sold a 53.7% stake in UMW Holdings Bhd to Sime Darby Bhd, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) is now seeking a buyer for its 54% stake in Velesto Energy Bhd, one of the oil and gas (O&G) service providers into which it had injected a whopping sum for recapitalisation during the downturn, according to sources.
Shares in Velesto Energy traded at 25.5 sen per share last Friday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM2.10 billion. This would value PNB’s stake at RM1.13 billion. The group was not planning to buy any new assets. New builds can cost from US$200 million (RM946 million) to US$250 million and take 10 to 15 years to recoup the investment.
There are many suitors, however, the recent termination of Mabel Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd’s takeover bid for Boustead Plantations Bhd might have sent a message that assets held by government-linked investment companies, or GLICs, must be kept in Bumiputera hands. A merger would have been nice since these two companies have the following things in common:
They are both leading oil and gas service providers in Malaysia, with complementary businesses and a common shareholder in Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB). • They both received capital injections from PNB via rights issues in 2017 and 2018, amounting to RM2.68 billion for Sapura Energy and more than RM800 million for Velesto. • They both suffered from the slump in oil prices and the Covid-19 pandemic, which affected their financial performance and share prices. • They both have jack-up rigs, which are mobile platforms that can be used for offshore drilling and production operations. Jack-up rigs are in high demand in the oil and gas industry, especially in the Southeast Asia region. • They both have tender rigs, which are semi-submersible platforms that can support drilling operations in shallow to deep water. Tender rigs are also in high demand in the oil and gas industry, especially in the Middle East region. • They both have engineering and construction capabilities, which enable them to provide integrated solutions for the oil and gas industry, such as fabrication, installation, hook-up, and commissioning of offshore facilities.
Mabel forecast that Brent will be fluctuating between USD 80 – 100 for 2024.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
