Globaltec Set To Acquire 49% Stake In Perak Hydroelectric Plant

Sources have indicated that Globaltec Formation is set to acquire a 49 percent stake in a hydroelectric power plant project sited at Sungai Perak, Lenggong, for RM2.5 million, marking its maiden foray into the renewable energy segment.
The facility comes with a 21-year renewable energy power purchase agreement approved by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia.
The deal will see Globaltec participating in a build-own-operate concession to build a mini hydroelectric power plant with a total generation capacity of 15 megawatts in Perak. It is understood that the project would cost some RM100 million and will take two years to construct.

Significance: The move indicates a shift in Globaltec’s business from low-margin auto parts and electronics manufacturing to the energy sector, after buying controlling interests in several unconventional gas fields in Indonesia early last month and the proposed acquisition of a 60 percent stake in New Century Energy Resource

ok 1 mega = 1000 kilo , 15 mega = 15000 kilo

revenue perhour 15000 x 0.23 RM = 3450 RM
revenue per day 3450 x 24 = 82800
revenue per months 82800 x 30 = 2.484 Millions
revenue per quarter 2.484 M x 3 = 7.452 M
revenue per year 7.452 M x 4 = 29.808M
