when various projects rolled out in year 2011 e.g MRT, KLIA2, 2nd Penang Bridge, then can see very good years from 2011 (revenue RM40m, profit RM3.2m) increase to 2014 (revenue -RM65m and profit RM9.1m)...........quite similar situation in 2016 if HSR, pan-borneo, mrt 3, bandar malaysia etc rolling out in 2016 then sch should be able to do better in 2017 and 2018.

I think it will be better than 2014 - profit RM9m as they have combodia subsidiary started to contributing now.......2014 din have combodia. moreover recent few projects are much bigger size than previous 1.

Just share some info about this sch industry job, they no need purposely go to bid those big project. Like many big highway project is ongoing quickly now, like EKVE n SUKE highway. This kind of project need very very damm big volume of rock, like crushes run. The contractor will buy rock from quarry company n sch will direct benefit in it. More construction project ongoin then more benefit to sch since sch is 1 of few companys doing such biz in malaysia, and they r top right now.

ray_ray good sharing and totally agreed :-) looking forward projects like HSR, Pan-Borneo to commence soon. I read SCH network is nationwide so they can benefit even project in east Malaysia, Johor to klang valley. penang etc

SCH has no dividend policy but can pay out a large proportion of their earnings each round. Quite good.

Are you sure? The company dont have so much profit , still distribute the dividend, no save so much money to reinvest their business for growing.

i like this counter as the management sincere to reward the shareholders since listing in 2014, 2105 and even bad year in 2016. yet they managed their cashflow quite well as gearing is very low 0.12 times and banking facility is available for their expansion and coming big project.

SCH is not new boy in town. They been in rock business for many years...they through the hard time in financial crisis back in those years. u have to believe the management knew what they are doing now.
