Malakoff announced that its 90%-owned unit, Tanjung Bin Power Sdn Bhd (TBP) had entered into an agreement with IHI Corporation Japan (IHI), ISHI Power Sdn Bhd (ISHI), and IHI Power Systems (M) Sdn Bhd (IPSM), as well as Sumitomo Corporation, Zelan Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd and Sumi-Power Malaysia Sdn Bhd, to resolve and settle the disputes (i.e. relating to previous operational issues at TBP power plant), according to the terms and condition of the agreement. Although it did not disclose the terms and condition, and the amount to be settled, we are positive on this new development as it should help to improve FY17F earnings. We maintain our Neutral call and DCF-based target price of RM1.29 however.

@luckypunting basing on all the Technical Price Charts- MA,MACD,RSI the buying and price momentum is VERY STRONG.
2.The RSI indicates start of buying and collection after being oversold.
3.The MACD line is moving above the Signal Line indicating the price will be supported.
4.Today buying volume is very large and also one of the good signals.

Outcome: presently,all the price charts are positive for the stock.Cheers:-)))

@gcke, the short term GPMMA line is still not yet crossing over the long term one...other technical indicators though are lean toward bullish for now ... today buying rate as of now is just at 51%... small punt will do :)

IPP is not monopoly business like Tenaga. Anytime Tenaga can terminate.

The beginning of 2017 until now Epf is biggest seller (Sell at lose).
You know who is the biggest buyer... Amanah Saham Bumiputera(Cost Rm1.25 average)

Epf cheap sell to Asb so it can maintain 7-8% divided to the share holder annually.

At RM 1.04 per 1,000 share with 7cents dividend, MALAKOFF dividend yield is 6.67% plus 13% discount from their RM1.20 NTA !! I think it is worth the risk to SLOWLY accumulate when price is below RM1.00 (after price movement is stable).

Disc based on 80% Nav is quite cheap. Ultility still a best buy. As long it still maintain 5~7% div, below 100% Nav = best buy. Good luck all.

this counter is under Syed Mokhtar ,and now is Dr.M vs Jibby ....
Maybe it is the reason EPF disposed so much ? And recently Dr.M's son company got visited by IRB , better avoid before knowing who is the last man standing ? 1 mountain cannot contain 2 tiger king , i think is better review it form political view now , less fundamental and technical because now election is coming ..... and it will be a bloody fight to disclose both side old story .....
