Yes this company doing middle man business and produces their own product, business industrial categories as NEEDS...will not easily loss money unless poor management
KUALA LUMPUR: Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Bhd (KTC) was awarded The Top Gun Key Distributor Award 2015 at the Beiersdorf Awards 2015.
Trace Wong, General Manager of Kim Teck Cheong Sdn Bhd received the award on the group’s behalf at the award ceremony.
There were a total of eighteen (18) major distributors nominated for the Best Distributor Category from Malaysia and Brunei.
“It is an honour to be recognised by such a prominent international brand and it is a testament of KTC’s capabilities as a Tier-1 CPG distributor in our region.
This recognition will further cement KTC’s business relationship with Beiersdorf moving forward,” commented Dexter Lau, executive director of KTC.
KTC has been an appointed distributor of Beiersdorf since 2014 and the group had previously earned the Best Distributor Award 2014 for Nivea products.
Equipped with over 77 years of industry experience, the business has been successfully managed by the Lau family and it continues to expand its business presence and branding throughout East Malaysia.
Today, KTC is one of the largest Consumer Package Goods (CPG) distributors in East Malaysia with 6419 sales and distribution points.
KTC’s core business focuses on providing market access and coverage of CPG including F&B products, personal care products, household products, baby care products, OTC drugs and health supplements.
Not only has KTC developed a niche and expertise in CPG distribution, the group has developed its own in-house brands namely Orie, Bamble and Creamos, which manufactures and distributes frozen and dry goods and bakery products across East Malaysia.
@pudica, I might be wrong on the largest or not. But certainly there is others out there competing and Rm78 million revenue with 2 million profit as of now... Still not impress, even century preform better abit... But who knows what the future holds...haha..My 2cent only ~
