ShuaiDoi sifu, thanks so much for the calculations. I cancelled my sale at .190, as i got my salary in time to pay bills. For people to want to exercise the warrant the price should be more than .235, right? Since buy back price not more than 15% of the preceeding 5 days' VWAP, this means buy back will have to occur quite soon....do I make sense?
The warrant matured on 17 sep if not mistaken. PTRANS must start share buy back after getting approval from share holder on upcoming AGM 20 may. So around 4 months to perform share buy back. Before they start share buy back, maybe stock price will up to a certain degree first because of the share buy back news released upon getting the approval on AGM, IF approve la.
@tksw , PTRANS seeking approval to buy back up to 10 percent of outstanding share in the next AGM. You dont know the news, or you are implying PTRANS will never buy back the share?
About share buy back, I checked last year document, it is stated on page3 that the authority to buyback ".... will continue to be in force until:- a)the conclusion of the next AGM .....", so in principle, company can perform buyback from now.
@tksw hmmmmmmmm Seems like you dont have business ppl thinking style. Management want more capital for their growing process, They probably thought about the same thing too. But execute or not we'll never know.
Tksw sifu, aiyo, sorry to hear that! Semalam, I said "...besok may be 180-190", aiyoyo, it turns out betul again, but I didn't do anything except cancel my sale at 190.
The potential advantages of the Proposed Renewal of Share Buy-Back Authority to our Company and our shareholders are as follows:- (a) allows our Company to take preventive measures against speculation, particularly when our Shares are undervalued, which would in turn, stabilises the market price of PTRANS Shares and hence, enhances investors’ confidence; (b) allows our Company flexibility in achieving the desired capital structure, in terms of debt and equity composition and size of equity; (c) if the Treasury Shares are resold at a higher price, it provides our Company with opportunities for potential gains; and (d) if the Treasury Shares are distributed as share dividends by our Company, it may then serve to reward the shareholders of our Company. The potential disadvantages of the Proposed Renewal of Share Buy-Back Authority to our Company and our shareholders are as follows:- (a) reduces the financial resources of our Group and may result in our Group foregoing other investment opportunities that may emerge in the future; and (b) as the Proposed Renewal of Share Buy-Back Authority can only be made out of retained earnings of our Company, it may result in the reduction of financial resources available for distribution to shareholders in the immediate future.
AGM is on May 20. Price will slowly move up to 25 sen in next days before AGM. If the buyback authority renewal passed, it will rocket up further. BOD target the price to be above 50 sen.
As announced on company webpage, AGM postponed. Pretty sure the renewal will be passed. Is the BOD target price stated anywhere? or your opinion? Exciting target!
HTCS, no problem! GETS up also good for PT...eg GETS buses may be using PT terminals/facilities, or passengers may have to continue journey with PT buses!

PTRANS has 70+M cash in hand.
If we raise the average buy back price to 0.3
the cost needed is 142M*0.3=42.6M
