@Limo123: why would you wanna cut loss? Why not average down? This company has been profitable for every quarter as far as I can remember and has a steady dividend payout. I'm in other big companies which are not even profit making bar paying dividend. Palm oil price has been recording new highs recently. So why cut loss? Just let you money sleep here and come back during next QR.
The reason i want to cut loss is company make profit since from day 1, cash flow strong. But not reflect at the shares prices. Shares price drop since day 1. If the price drop further, will make lost further. Even the dividend pay out also can't cover the capital.. besides that, CPO price is good. This company also no movement at all.
@Limo123: choice is yours. Nobody is going to help you make money here. I've also been holding a substantial amount and I definitely think this is a company for the future. Hold it or lose it, choice is yours. You sell, I'll keep buying.
IPO price back in 2017 was 13 sen. Matang's productivity is one of the best amongst plantations. If production remains constant and price has more than doubled, what do you think the profit will be? I believe price will eventually recover past IPO price when news is out with their Q2 and Q3 results. Wait and see. Dr Y Raj, I believe your observation is spot on.
Keep calm people. Eventually this counter would prove its worth. If not this quarter then wait for next quarter. It'll move! @YJInvest. Thank you. Huat Ah
Fantastic yoy results but not sure why qoq slightly down. Nevertheless, a well done quarter. Now for management to reward loyal shareholders with a nice interim dividend. Thanks in advance.
