Kfliau, I don’t think it’s fair to call Stephen (or anyone else) a liar; it was your choice to follow him.

The most important think in trading/investing is risk management. Buy what you can hold as long as you believe in that stock.

Eg. I bought Awantec around middle of March last year (won’t tell you the price but you can guess if you check its chart) when it was near its bottom due to MCO. I know the company, met with their top execs and their Dr Abu.

I then saw it climb gradually.

Then I saw it crash at the start of Sept last year, all the way down due to bad news/announcement. Never sold. I believed in the company, still do.

Even when its operators (and it clearly has operators at work) pushed it up to its recent high of 1.28, I didn’t sell. In fact I had collected more from the time I first bought in March last year. Datuk Tong started buying Awantec last month. I own more of Awantec than him (if his weekly The Edge portfolio is true)

I didn’t sell because I didn’t need to. That’s my risk management.

even i am in the loss with 5 figures closing to 6, i still hold this stock as I know this company future prospects. Also, no 100% free meal, need to be patient to get the fruitful profit. Btw, today is quadruple witching hour, operator normally dont push this day. You guys decide yourself, i am holding it!

Our comments will have some impact on other investors especially to newbees. If one repeatedly says he never lies, one has to own up when things doesn't go as planned. That's why one must be careful to give any buy or sell call

Sorry if i have influenced your decision @kfliau but i stand by my word that this is a good company run by good management. Sometimes the market goes against us. But we learn from it trade cautiously in the future. I will hold till the sun rises again.

There are lotsa liars in life, not just here

The thing is this : Liars usually are proven

Stock investing is not gambling. Sometimes it’s better to invest in good fundamental stocks with low volume. Quick buck? Then follow high volume trend

Hidden stock gems are there to be found. Try not to follow “trending stocks” too much. Remember AC/DC’s Thunderstruck song? It sounds great in its original version with bass, drums and guitars

And then there’s the 2CELLOS version which is awesome imo

Apologies if I’ve gone too far out in my analogy and folks don’t understand :)

Taking part in share investment one must keep in mind that investment can give both +ve and -ve return. Many story seller meant good. They want to make money. They also want you to win. But what actually happen can be different. Slvest will continue to do well. Lets not give up. Good luck.

Saying a company with good FA doesn't deserve a sell down is equivalent to saying bad things shouldn't happen to good people. Things like that only exist in dreams :)

No matter how good/profitable a company is, their share price can never go up in a straight line. Ignorance is not bliss when money is at stake.

what price will the bonus shares issued be? so lets say the market price at entitlement date is 2.53, then will the shares issued to you be worth 2.53?

if a portfolio consists of 200 shares worth 2.53, then you get awarded 100 more share from the bonus issue, does your portfolio value go from RM506 (2.53*200) to RM759 (2.53*200+100)?

I sold all by right shouldn't comment any more, but just wish to share my trading experience. If tomorrow opens at reference price or higher, my advice is to cut. The intent of the operator is clearly to squeeze the stale bull until you beh tahan and cut loss So that he can collect back the tickets. Of course If you are prepared to weather the storm and going for long term, don't bother with my advice

what the account holder lost is the fractions that was not carried forward.
