Thanks for the article. Although I am an avid Buffett fan, I must say that sometimes I question these kwailoh's motives. At the back of it all they are protecting their assets and investments like Buffett did with Salomon and more recently Goldman Sachs. It raises the question if Mobius is doing the same thing! Caveat emperor rule!

When Templeton Funds going to launch Islamic funds in Malaysia, Mark Mobius suddenly turns bullish on Malaysia.....Point to ponder

It say suddenly is not correct la IMO. He obviously did his reasearch from the article and therefore launched the Islamic Funds in Malaysia appropriately to capture the bullishness. Mobius actually earned his acclaimed reputation as a hedge fund specialist.
What is needed here is always take their articles with a pinch of salt and know that at the end of the day, its still an analyst pitching his take. Investors must always do their homework. Don't need to remind you what Warren quotes about analysts! :)

This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
