The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed slightly lower Thursday as investors reacted to the US Federal Reserve's plan to increase interest rates sooner-than-expected, a dealer said.

The three-month Kuala Lumpur Interbank Offered Rate (KLIBOR) futures contracts closed untraded Thursday.

Share prices on Bursa Malaysia closed lower Thursday on follow-through selling in small cap stocks amid weaker regional stock market performance, dealers said.

FOMC has always been a focus of power play between funds giants and Fed. We all know how funds giants will react negatively to any US Fed decisions. Stay calm. Fed Yellen gave rosy US economy, China reform, Ukraine has passed. Wait for storm to go away.

DJIA again display contradicting mood. Yesterday 100 points drop excuse was due to interest rate hike, today it move in opposite direction making 200 turn back. The fundamental of economy is very strong, viotile markets should be expected. But upward making new highs for all markets. Stay invested.
