Sometimes i wonder, why US which has so many extremely talented economists fall victm to their own dumbness!
Take current US high inflation for example! It's no brainer! Biden printed US dollar faster that the production of toilet paper! Hence with too much dollar in circulation, it push inflation sky high! And also the high oil price do to Biden own blunder by restricting domestic oil production, cutting diplomatic ties with Saudi and Russia, the whole world saw increasing oil price!

Donald Trump has been shouting and screaming of the obvious! To quickly bring down inflation now, you need cheap oil! Flood the world with cheap oil!
They say, it's pointless to point the obvious!
OPEC plus extend their production cut! It's so obvious what they are trying to do!
It's going to harm US economy! And those all mighty economists in US will look at next inflation data concluding another hike this month!
US already in 22 years rate high! All signs pointed to damaging impact of such high interest rate! And of course, Russia Saudi agenda to push oil price higher is to ensure US inflation remain high!
Eventually, at certain point, US economy simply can't take it anymore and the impact may surface at the moment they least expected or predicted!

US dollar continue to gain strength at the moment! But it's all superficial really! You know i know it's just unsustainable! When the fun ran out, the outflow will be very drastic! One moment, US dollar is high and mighty! The next, kaboom! Just like emptying bathtub full of water, you just need to lift the cap cover and all the water simply drain very fast!

ONSHORE YUAN HIT 2007 LEVELS

The onshore yuan sank to 7.3296 per dollar, its weakest since December 2007.

China has rolled out a series of policy measures in recent months to revive a stumbling economy after its post-pandemic recovery fell away quickly. Investors remain on the lookout for further support measures from Beijing to revive market confidence.

Data on Thursday showing a lower-than-expected fall in China's exports and imports numbers in August did little to lift investors' spirits.

"I think that what's really driving the dollar is not so much that the U.S. economy is doing great, but it's doing better than elsewhere," said Joseph Capurso, head of international and sustainable economics at Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
