KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP), the official importer of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, aims to sell over 50 units of the newly-launched Cayenne GTS, annually.
Chief Executive Officer Arnt Bayer said eight units of the RM800,000 second generation sport utility vehicle has been sold.
"The Porsche Cayenne is among the bestsellers in its product range and with the new Cayenne GTS, this makes up a total of six variants that are currently available in the local market," he told Bernama after the launch of the Cayenne GTS.
The base price, which starts from RM800,000, includes a four-year factory warranty and a four-year complimentary service and maintenance package.
It is also inclusive of all applicable duties and excludes registration fee, road tax and insurance.
Bayer said its Porsche Pre-Owned Car Programme, which gives enthusiasts a chance to own a Porsche at a purchase within reach, was also doing very well.
"We have sold between 80 and 100 units of pre-owned Porsches so far," he added. -- BERNAMA
