KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 -- Pharmaniaga Bhd’s (Pharmaniaga) wholly-owned subsidiary, Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn Bhd (PLSB) has received a letter from the Ministry of Health for the extension of its services for the provision of medicines and medical supplies to its facilities for an interim period of 25 months from Dec 1, 2019 to Dec 31, 2021.

In addition, PLSB is allowed to continue providing logistics and distribution services to the ministry for a period of five years ending Dec 31, 2024, Pharmaniaga said in a statement.

Pharmaniaga managing director Datuk Farshila Emran said Pharmaniaga thanked the government for continuing to place its trust in the company and for recognition of the company’s performance in delivering services.

“Moving forward, we remain focused on providing high standards of service and strong operational efficiency to ensure that all Key Performance Indicators are met.

“In tandem, we are committed to upholding good corporate governance standards and transparent practices guided by our MS ISO 37001 Anti Bribery Management System,” Farshila said.
