As you know, Australia's immigration minister revoked the unvaccinated tennis star's visa for a second time Friday, saying his presence in the country could lead to an "increase in anti-vaccination sentiment" and even incite "civil unrest."

Djokovic arrived in Melbourne nearly two weeks ago and promptly had his visa canceled for failing to show why he was medically exempt from having the Covid-19 vaccine.

Like so many people, I have been waiting to know if the Australian Federal Court would rule in favour of Djokovic.

This is the latest breaking news from CNN.

Decision was "unanimous," chief justice says

Chief Justice James Allsop said the court's ruling to uphold the immigration minister's decision to revoke Novak Djokovic's visa was unanimous.

He began by saying the full bench of the Federal Court was not being asked to decide on the merits of the minister's decision, instead to review the legality of that decision.

"These grounds focus on whether the decision was for different reasons irrational or legally unreasonable. It is no part of the function of the court to decide upon the merits or wisdom of the decision," Allsop said.

He went on to say the amended application should be dismissed with costs.

This is my personal opinion.

Vaccination is the best way to avoid getting Covid 19 infection. I consider the Federal Court ruling is line with the Government’s policy to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. As shown on the graph below on 15 Jan Australia has 112,867 new cases which is more than the 7-day average of 107,666. That means the daily number of new cases is surging.

The Australian Government is right to cancelled Djokovic’s visa because he was not vaccinated. The Government has been promoting Vaccination to save human lives.

Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. Serbia President is supporting Djokovic for political reason. He must realise that currently Serbia has 1.413 million Covid 19 cases and 13,126 deaths. Serbia has a population of 6.91 million. That means every 5 people, 1 has contacted Covid 19 virus. Serbia is already one of the poorest countries in Europe. With the daily new Covid 19 cases surging, Serbia can only get poorer.

I hope someone will forward this article to Djokovic so that he can get vaccinated and promote vaccination in Serbia to reduce the number of new daily Covid cases to save human lives.

Freedom is the most important thing not restrictions here and there. It is just like freedom to choose any stocks to invest.

China saying: If no freedom, better die.

Only very little people will pass away without the lock down, wearing face mask and even (experimental) vaccination. Now more people unemployed and die due to the SoP.
