The FBMKLCI (+0.67%) continued its third-day winning streak to close higher at 1613.70 pts, driven by key heavyweights including PCHEM (+17.0 sen) and IHH (+12.0 sen). Most of the blue-chip stocks observed decent buying support amid the window dressing period, lifting the key index. The market breadth was also positive, with 692 winners against 295 losers. In the broader market, all the sectors closed on a positive note, with Industrial Products & Services (+1.74%) sector gaining the most, which was led by PCHEM (+17.0 sen) and PMETAL (+12.0 sen).
