TOKYO, April 11 (Reuters) - Japan's weather bureau said on Monday there was a high possibility that a La Nina weather pattern would emerge in summer after the El Nino ends.

The Japan Meteorological Agency said the El Nino, which is often linked to heavy rainfall and droughts, was expected to continue weakening and that there was a high possibility the weather event would finish by early summer.

El Nino - a warming of sea-surface temperatures in the Pacific - can trigger drought in Southeast Asia and Australia and floods in South America, hitting production of key foods such as rice, wheat and sugar.

While a La Nina can be less damaging than El Nino, severe La Ninas are also linked to floods, droughts and hurricanes.

Calvin comments:

As La Nina will hit production of rice, wheat and sugar by floods, droughts and hurricanes - expect more soy and maize be diverted as feedstock for animals and food for human consumption.

So in the lack of food there will be less competition from Soy Oil & Corn.

So?

SO CPO PRICES EXPECTED TO SKY ROCKET UPWARD!!!

STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS!

YOU ALL BETTER GO AND GET A COPY OF STOCK PERFORMANCE GUIDE (SEPTEMBER 2015 EDITION) From Any MPH BOOKSTORE OR POPULAR BOOK STORE

Calvin, why past fews day oil palm prices is dropping? It is due to tax or less demand? I believe oil palm will only up if soybean price up due to less yield or harvest. Hope oil palm price will up to 3k as per your prediction. Prefer La Niña than El Niño.

La Nina will make palm oil bunches sprout by the tons! Palm oil price will crash! If you notice since the rain started last week, price of palm oil has drop!

Fortunebulz does not know history.

In years 1996 - 1998 El Nino & La Nina caused CPO Prices to rise.

So are years of 2006 to 2008 when same condition was repeated.

Once more in years 2010 to 2012

Prices will go up

BECAUSE OIL PALM HARVEST WILL BE ABUNDANT

BUT THERE WON'T BE MUCH SOY, CORN, CANOLA OR OTHER OILS AROUND.

So?

SO CPO PRICES CAN ONLY GO UP DUE TO SCARCITY!

La niño will disturb oil palm harvest job. Low landed prone to flood n no harvest job is able to carry out. Output will no increase if reality big la niño happen.

Yes, CPO tracks Soy Oil futures in the US

There is now 2 diverging trend for Soybean & Soy oil futures

Right now Soybean future is up strongly while Soy oil future is down slightly. It is only a matter of time when Soy Oil will finally Soy bean trend. So just wait.

Malaysia won't be so badly affected like others. We only have monsoon rains BUT No hurricanes like those in Philippines which fell coconut trees.

In the US there will be lots and lots of tornados.

And China, Korea, Taiwan Vietnam will be hit by Typhoons

TYPHOON Is Tai Fung in Chinese (BIG WIND)

So just watch La Nina

Calvin boss.
Good morning.
You're the best Sales Genius ever.

Everday I see you sell/promote this and that.
Then you promote Iskandar, CPO and oil.
Now you promote/sell "draught" (El Nino) and the latest one you sell "rain" (La Nina).................... U must be everyday selling this and that until one day you sell yourself. No matter how I still wish you gain big in 2016.

March16 CPO Production jumped 16% (OMG...so big) instead of El Nino ...man cry wolves...

Data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) showed a 16.9 percent jump in output in March from February, more than double the 8 percent growth forecast in a Reuters poll."Everyone thought the report would be bullish as stocks fell to 1.89 million tonnes but the surprising factor was production growth.
