1981-2011 - Practice in the firm of Skinner Lind Robertson Pang and Willie (now known as Lind Willie Wong & Chin), initially as a litigation lawyer then head the firm's General Conveyancing, banking and corporate department.

2012-2019 -  Started own firm ("CSY") which focuses in providing legal consultancy work for corporate, banking and contractual matters with particular reference to Sabah Land law. 

2019-2023 -  Served initially as a Judicial Commissioner and later as a High Court Judge in the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak. While in the Judiciary he sat in High Court of Kuching, then in the High Court of Sibu and finally in the High Court of Kota Kinabalu.
