In 1976, Encik Nadzru started his career as an Executive Engineer in PETRONAS and was involved in the conceptual stages of the development of the LNG, Refinery, Ammonia-Urea and Gas Processing Plants. From 1982 to 1988, he was the Executive Director of Protek Engineers Sdn Bhd, a Consulting Engineers company in the Oil and Gas Industry. Later in 1989, he became more active in the Oil and Gas Industry with his participation as shareholder and/or director of various companies that were involved in Exploration & Production, Gas Storage and Terminalling and Manufacturing of Components, Engineering and Fabrication of Oil and Gas Production Facilities. Currently, he is a director and a member of the Board of Commissioners of PT Gunanusa Utama Fabricators, a company engaged in the business of fabrication yards in West Java and Kalimantan. He is also a director and shareholder of Borcos Berhad Group of companies involving in the shipping, supplying of vessels and seismic survey vessels for the oil and gas industry and with its worldwide renown counterpart namely, Qatar Petroleum and Saudi Aramco. He is also a director and shareholder in his other business ventures such as the Elpiji Group of companies involved in liquefied petroleum and natural gas business operating LPG Receiving and Storage Terminals worldwide, a joint venture Terminal with Wesfarmers Energy of Australia which had its owner-designed and manufactured LPG Filling Plant System trademarked ELIXIR for the international market. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Ranhill Energy Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. He holds the following professional memberships:- (a) Chartered Engineer and Member Institution of Chemical Engineers, UK; (b) Member of KIVI (Koninklijk Instituut Van Ingenieurs) Royal NetherlandsInstitution of Engineers; and (c) Fellow Institute of Petroleum.
